- Thanks for joining me this year in this watercolor journaling journey. I hope to paint in my journal most days of the year and invite you to join me. The Ticonderoga pencil is sacred in our house. Fresh boxes of pre-sharpened ones are purchased every year for school.

It depends on the sketchbook but if it’s good quality 140lb weight I definitely recommend using both sides. I paint on both in all my sketch books.
