  • The Ronald Reagan Institute Center for Civics, Education, and Opportunity presents “An Educated Citizenry: A Conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Amy Coney Barrett” prerecorded then aired on July 28th during its fifth annual Reagan Institute Summit on Education (RISE). The Justices discuss civics education and engagement and civility in a virtual discussion. Moderated by Yale Law School Professor Akhil Reed Amar, Justices Sotomayor and Barrett share insights about the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship based on their lived experiences as well as the investments needed to ensure American students are prepared for robust participation in civic life and duty.
