The tone of this song is just so fucking right. The bass, those guitar rifts, the way this video is shot, and even the way she sort of drags her voice out just has that older genuine feel to it.

I first listened to this song in January of this year and this song helped me realized that I had been in a very emotional abusive relationship, despite how much I wanted to deny it. Now I am in a much better place with someone who loves me and more. A love that lets me breathe.

this is the best song on the album. i’m way too obsessed with it. ever since i first heard it i knew that i would never get over this group.
I almost DIED at a skatepark in Honolulu, HI the day this song premiered. I slammed hella fucking hard at A'ala skatepark in ChinaTown downtown Honolulu and broke my rib 3" from my SPINE. I was all alone around 2pm, nobody was out of school yet. I could barely breathe and I just laid there for a while. My broken rib had punctured my left lung and all I could do it just wait for someone to show up to help me get back to my buddy's house where I was couch surfing. This song premiered on RUclips a few minutes later and I realized that it was what would have been my 21st wedding anniversary. I waited 4 days to go to the hospital and when I did they said I was bleeding to death and they had to do an emergency pneumothorax drain on me or I will die. I had a collapsed lung and didn't even know it. They were surprised that I was not dead already. I was in Queen's Hospital for 7 days. I love Soccer Mommy. This song has a special place in my heart. I was hurting so bad and I heard this and it made me feel relaxed when I needed it most. I love you SOFIE. Thank you.
