"It is not a space for a picture." So I work as an editor for a publishing agency .. we actually place a sentence stating "This page intentionally left blank." in blank pages in the manuals to let people know the page was intentionally left blank .. for the reader. 🤔 I would be curious if the publishing agency for this second book of the dead may have meant this. Great vid. Pretty hilarious to see editing errors similar to those we have in editing... especially the disconnect between illustrators and writers.
Would be interesting to see if they could identify the scribes through style or handwriting enough to know how many different people worked on each book.
A mistake from the poor illustrator that has been discovered more than 2000 years later! It is fascinating to see how small details can tell us so much about our past.
