Baldacci, if you lost like 30 lb got in shape I promise you diabetes wouldn't be a problem I weighed 235 when I found out I had diabetes and my blood sugar count was 980 I was hospitalized for a day. Once they told me what was wrong and how to fix it they said most people won't do it I did it I went from 235 to 180 but solid went to the gym everyday started eating perfectly after 6 months when I went back they told me they couldn't even see my diabetes they told me whatever I was doing I need to keep doing it to this very rare this happens. You could do a big homie

Man that's the best thing you can do! Both my mom and brother has type 2 diabetes and my mom changed her diet, lost some weight and it's under control with zero meds now. My brother on the other hand is in multiple meds, had several toes cut off and may loose a foot because he wouldn't change his diet! Hopefully he sticks with it because if not it will start to spiral out of control if it already isn't

Salmon, steak and eggs are things you can eat to control your diabetes. You have to cut out the bread tortillas and anything with sugar in it. You can also look into it ask your doctor about apple cider vinegar mixed with a little bit of psyllium husk and water that will help control your sugar intake also.
