I had no info to research so i did my best figuring out by myself. I think it's comfortably enough. I'm not sure if the pops are pops or just a string pluck in a low action bass. I had no low action so i went with popping, executed lightly. Lots of low end and downtuning made it a little harder to manage. Straigth 9ths can be hard to keep on tempo, try to accentuate on the snare beat so you can lock with the drums. Let me know if you have any more questions. I stopped doing harmonic analysis since i don't think many of you see them? Let me know if i'm correct.

I read the harmonic analysis, but I'm a theory illiterate so I don't understand a lick of it. However I appreciate the added effort, and I bet others who actually understand it appreciate it more.
The harmonic analysis helps a lot for improvisation on the bass and maybe transposing it to other instruments.

Actually I thought the same but then managed to figure it out, by playing it slowly then automating my hammers and eventually got it ! Go slow with it first then find your own pattern.

That’s the tablature notation of a staccato (short) note. Basically, you stop the note from lasting the full beat, and only let it ring out for the initial sound. Instead of it going DOOO~ it goes DO.

Why do the chords stay the same when you transpose through tuning to Eb, despite not having anything to do with the chords/notes played?
Bothers me a whole lot as well tbh
phisically is more efficient to see the same position you do as not downtuned. It would be harder to see E and think Eb
After a while of playing, bass tabs/sheet take similar positions (3-5-7) octaves lololol
Part of playing is play smarter not always harder.
It’s the same chord positions on the bass but not actually the chords because it’s a half step down (Eb)
