- A no death run of Darius Twin on SNES. The game is fairly easy except for that ridiculous last stage, but if you hug the top end or low end of the screen you will make it mostly unharmed. The main issue is dealing with the crabs, but the best way to avoid their rings of death is to move where the last shot was (gets hairy when 2 of them show up yikes!)
** I might end up reuploading, the video is missing a lot of enemy shots due to low framerate, will see if it's better after a day

This game really has a KICKASS SOUNDTRACK!!
I just finally beat the game a few minutes ago! I can't believe it literally took me 20 years to beat that last stage! Tbh, I wanted to cry when I did, but then I realized.. it was on EASY mode, plus I took the pansy path. Next time, I'll do it the manly way!
How I beat darius twin: Applied tape to controller.
3:48 yep this is a real Snes, because that's exactly how the tiger shark comes out.
Where are no challenging paths in the game, so no pansy path was taken. True, zone H is a bit more difficult (at least the boss Imo) than the zones G and I are, but apart from that and the last stage it's always the same sleep inducing difficulty.
Besides, if you want to cash in big on score, playing stage J instead of K is mandatory.
So, it was the robot walruses all along. I should've known.
Im dissapointed! lol I would always have all my lives and then end up dying on the final stage! But he played it like a bitch and stayed at the bottom the whole time on the final stage!lol Guess imma try that to hahha :)
I just bought this yesterday, I was expecting less than this to be frank, concidering that most of shooters on snes are not that cool exept a few one. But it's awesome! :D just like it's saturn countepart
ugh, i can beat this game with about 20 deaths using the cheat :P. awesome run man, 2 player is so much fun stealing powerups and stuff. not to mention the kickass soundtrack!
Its like Megaman X, which has animal like bosses.
Its kinda cute from a child perspective i liked that ^^
Fishes in space kind of makes sence for me, its like a "Star Ocean".
@CircusJaximus You can get up to 3 fireballs upgrade if you get the shitty downgrade in 17:20. The sonic-type upgrade is still the best path though..
I love how the music is in sync with the level in level 1. Notice at 0:43 when the verse starts playing the big fish appears..
@CircusJaximus It's possible, but random. I remember getting it a few times and having the kick-ass long red laser upgrade
still have this one its fun the music is so epic as well cant wait for the new one to come out some time this year.
cool game I think the composer that worked on this game also worked on UN Squadron. The music sounds the same
"Fairly easy" if you play it 50000 times & memorise it instead of playing, yeah you'd hope it would be.

great game. one thing which suck about this game was that there was no 1-ups or continues.

@Indirectcell Yeah, Darius Twin is pretty fuckin' hard. So hard in fact, that most Darius players don't even bother with it. They just stick with Darius Gaiden or G-Darius like typical pansies would.

If you were to select the Planet Sabia stage and when you reach the boss on that one... The easiest way you can beat the boss (Red Mist) on Planet Sabia just keep shooting the weak spot and don't shoot the tentacle whip.
