Hull Fair 2021

The best fair of the year is back and better than ever!!!
This year we spent 3 wonderful nights back under the lights and it was just amazing to be back and walking down Walton Street again. The atmosphere, the music, the food and most importantly the rides have all been heavily missed for the past few years so this years fair will definitely go down as one of the best. I’ve also never seen the fair so busy on all 3 nights that we visited so I think the people of Hull agree with me when I say that. Pretty much every single ride had a full queue and it was great to see the showmen making some money after a terrible 18 months for them.
In terms of the rides, I think this was one of the best line-ups we’ve had for a long time and the only thing that was missing was Danter’s Air. It was great to see and finally experience Power Surge before it heads back abroad, it’s one of the craziest rides I’ve ever been one. It definitely has those Equinox vibes!
Xtreme, as you probably know by now, is my favourite and it was great to finally see it at Hull (your loss Nottingham). That and Ice Jet were probably this years show stealers and I hope they return in future years. Void, as you would expect, looked absolutely stunning, although if I’m being honest, I still prefer Dane Crow’s somewhat ancient Extreme.
I still couldn’t justify the £10 charge for Booster Max though when Vertigo was around the corner for £5 and offering better views from the top.

It's called Powersurge. Unfortunately it's not in the country anymore. It was foreign owned at the time though and came across for a quick UK tour so can't rule out a return. We've also got Equinox back now which is similar.
