- A short demo of the AIWA HV-MX100 Multisystem VCR, this unit can play VHS tapes from everywhere in the world and convert it on the fly to any system. It can also be used as a realtime system converter. You can also record any video system to another, for example you can record a PAL source in Europe and make a NTSC tape that will work in any NTSC VCR.
No sound to avoid copyright strike.
I recently bought one of these and it was tested and working. I'm really excited thanks for this demo! It really can use the pal tapes!
Can you do a high quality reupload of the 1-min extended Walt Disney "Neon" intro?
I can't, that was a repost of a video I found on some other site. I only have the one that I uploaded upscaled to HD that was captured from this VCR.
Ok.
What site was it from?
+Mitchell Hang (Gilblitz112) I don't remember it was a long time ago, probably doesn't even exist anymore.
Could you sell this multisystem vcr for a cheap price on ebay one day maybe
Hi, trying to buy this for a friend. He has a bunch of PAL VHS tapes and wants to play them here in America. If I buy this VCR, can he plug it to this NTSC TV and watch his PAL tapes? Or would he need a converter to use his NTSC TV?
Tyler D Yes it would work, that's the whole point of having a worldwide VCR ;)
Thank you and sorry for the silly question but been burned before. Found one of these and paid a pretty penny but i'll make a great gift. Thanks!
Sure, no problem, all he has to do is pop in a PAL tape and select the output system to NTSC. It has an integrated digital converter so he'll be fine! You can see that in this demo video it's playing a PAL tape and I go through all the systems at 0:19 I select NTSC, the TV shows it fine because it also supports NTSC.
Does the tv's color control work when receiving a secam signal?
I haven't tried but I don't see why not!
I read somewhere that a color control on secam is not possible because of the way it works and I can't find any device that will output secam my old computer can output ntsc and all off the pal systems but not secam.
I've just tried the color control on SECAM and on my LCD and CRT TV it works normally.
thanks for vertifying.
Kylie Minogue! 😄
Geez, when people are idiots and don't say a word....
Geez, when people are idiots and can't keep their unasked opinion to themselves...
I love when people make videos and push buttons and have no clue what they are doing.
Who says I don't know what I'm doing? I'm playing a PAL tape and demonstrating the different output systems, the TV supports PAL, NTSC and SECAM but doesn't support PAL-M ans PAL-N hence the black and white picture. I love when people watch videos and have no clue what they're watching.
