Everyone absolutely adores and admires Louis so so much! I don’t think this video does it justice but as someone who has basically seen it all because I’ve been here since the beginning, it’s so obvious that he’s everyone’s favorite. He’s got the best friendships with all of them, they all talk about him with awe and fondness, and back in the day when they used to play games like “Which member out of the band would you ask to help you cover up a crime”, “Which member would you date” and “Which member would you like to be stranded on an island with” the answer was always Louis to all of these kinds of questions it was actually very funny. There’s a reason almost everyone is familiar with the phrase “Louis and his 4 boyfriends” lol and it’s not like meant romantically, but sometimes it really does seem like they’re obsessed with him. I completely understand it though. Although he was pretty silly, especially early on, he was the life of everything. Caring, thoughtful, wise, funny, and mischievous at the same time. Even to this day, no one can say a bad word about him. There’s so so much admiration there, even when mixed with a lot of teasing when they were still in the band because they’re young and that’s how they show their (platonic) love, it’s all very clearly deserved.

I liked your video. I never took it as a ship video. I guess you could have titled it " the one directions boys showing why Louis is their favorite mate"... or something. Louis set the tone for them to have fun!
I almost forgot how funny he was in that group! I love watching these old videos because it gives me such a serotonin boost. He always brightened every interview like literal sunshine and they all gravitated towards him the most.
I adore Louis so I'm always happy to see ypu react to any of his stuff. Old enough to be any one of their moms lol-- but they were all such charmingly adorable kids. Niall's laugh though? I swear it's made out of magic-- it is just contagious as hell--hard to stay in a bad mood when he starts cracking up!! You two also crack me up-- your intros, outros and everything in between. I enjoy when you crack each other up!!😁

When we combine rheir names, it doesn't have to mean we "ship" them in the way you are thinking. We adore their friendships and combining their names is just something we do, like a term of endearment. Just like we call ourselves Louies, Harries, Lovers, etc..
First of all I must say,
Everyone would be gay for Louis.
‘Shipping’ H&L is not based on the little interactions in these videos. That would be very silly. The many ‘proofs’ of a relationship over the years are hard to discount. They run deep. I came to 1D fandom late. I am older than you & not gullible. The story that can be uncovered is quite moving, and is ‘bigger than them’ which is what makes it so compelling. See minute 1:52 seconds of Louis’ documentary to see who many of Louis’ songs are about.
There are literally zero proofs that 100% point at a romantic relationship between them. They’ve never seriously announced it, kissed in public, or even held hands as a couple. All you have are baseless theories that have done nothing but hurt their friendship and their loved ones. You just interpret and overanalyze everything the way YOU like; the way they’d fit your narrative, when nothing they’ve ever done, said, or written can only be applied to the other. Thousands of interpretations and possibilities, but you only focus on the one that “supports” the fake relationship you built in your heads, consequently denying every other explanation and more or less hurting them and their careers. Everything you have can be easily applied to how close friends behave with one another. The whole touching, teasing, flirty comments, etc. is literally very normal friend behavior. And everything else that you claim to be “couple-y” is typical between friends irl. Maybe if you went outside and breathed some fresh air, made a friend you became close to, you’d see how common everything you claim is romantic is in platonic relationships, and how silly and weak your theories are.
Either way, I can never understand why you’d even care or think you have the right to analyze or talk about someone else’s private life. Know your boundaries or leave the fandom. Fans’ main focus should be the artist’s career and profession ONLY. We have no business theorizing over their love lives or personal relationships.
I’m sure I’m way older than you so looking at the whole picture but more importantly listening to Louis over the years, full denial by him, time and time again, he hates it. The videos you see are mere snippets and so many have been doctored. Anyways…have an awesome Christmas. 🎉
