Great build! Looking forward to start building mine. I'm modifying the frame for 275/45-16 wheels and tires, and for the engine a 441ci LS7!!! I was thinking a bright green (Lamborghini verde mantis- LZ6A) but man that pearl white on yours has me wondering now.

@@MaurandisDaRadusFilms I started the project 8 months ago. I travel for work....a lot. When I'm home I have other obligations, and I try to spend time with family and friends. My other spare time is spent working on the car. Unfortunately, it's not as much as I would like. I did go with the green, and have pieces painted already, and I must say, it looks ULTRA FABULOUS in the sunlight!! At the rate I'm able to work on it now, it seems it won't be ready for the road until mid 2023. 😒

I'm itching after selling my convertible car and ordering a K1 myselfe.
I'm also following two other K1 builds here on RUclips now, and I see one of them struggeling about suspension parts that comes with the car does not fit exactly with the welded in brackets on the chassis and so on.
Did you have any problems about that?
@@TerjeNormann I actually sold the car before it was finished. Work took me to other countries for long periods of time. 🙁

Thank you! Car has 890kg. Front suspension is from Skoda/Audi and back is from Honda Accord. Now is handling very good. Added electro hydraulic power steering from MR2.

@@TerjeNormann Pleae look at b-racing.cz there are many informations. My car is built with H22 engine from Prelude/Accord. Now with turbo and 510HP. Car weights max 900kg.
JOSET if you did the build well done. I am looking at this car as a possible candidate. What would you do differently? I am asking the factory to configure my power plant for a Toyota Turbo GTS 3 power plant would love to hear your thoughts. How long did it take you to build and did you work on it full time?

Thank you! Next and i hope last modification will be turbo. Now I have 270hp NA, and car needs more power :) Build takes me 4-5000 hours. But a lot of modifications, development, trials an custom work. Car can be built in 500hours i think.
@@xholan03 Asked the factory to consider my owner train upgrade and have it done there so I don’t spend 4/5K hours on this. Who did the interior work? Thanks Dave

cirka od 12. minuty jsem si říkal, že jsem tenhle kousek už někde viděl ... a na konci videa bylo jasno, tohoto krasavce jsem okukoval na Legendách a snažil se lidi kolem poučit, že tohle fakt není od Hondy, ale česká stavebnice s díly z Hondy.
Ano ano. Nicméně je to přestavba Honda Accord :)
@@xholan03 to má i papíry z Hondy Accord? Proč se ptám. Mě by se líbil K1 Attack s pětiválcem od Volva, samozřejmě oturbená verze (250-300PS základ, v podstatě to samé jako jsou Focusy 2. generace ST a RS). Jenže mě děsí homologace, tak pátrám, jak se to řeší. Jestli to musí splňovat emisní limity aktuální, nebo stačí ty z doby, kdy vyrobili "dárce".

@@xholan03 Why did you choose the H-series over the K? THe K-series is more widely available and has a much bigger aftermarket, and they are pretty similar engine.. Obviously, I love all the old Honda engines, but K-series are just so cheap and so easy to work on thanks to the huge aftermarket.
@@JonHop1 Because build was started 10 years ago. K-series was two times more expensive and K1 was prepared for H22 swap. In these days K series is way. You are right.
Can a 4.0 v8 fit?
Yes, but that will kill soul of this car. This is light kart. Not a beast with all weight on the back and absolutly killed driveabality. Im now working on boosted version with 500hp. So we will see :-)
@@xholan03 ya man I think I saw someone put a civic type r on it with like a thousand hp. Do u think a 3.5 twin turbo v6 would be too much weight in the back?
@@cjpilla1202 Yes, and killed driveabality with that torque.
Dont forgot that this car very light. For road race is perfect 4 banger. But for drag, who cares :)

I'd rather just buy a lotus. It has looks performance and reliability.
SEREN1TY Yes, Lotus is perfect! But K1 has one big advantage - i can make, repair and upgrade everything myself :) And dont forget that K1 is very unique car.

Porad si s necim hraju, to se neda uplne pocitat. Ja v tom jsem urcite za 5 tisic hodin se vsim vsudy, testovanim, nastavovanim, upravami a podobne. Da se to postavit urctite za 500 hodin cisteho casu :)
