In the US, Valentine's Day is a bit different. Partnered people (dating, married) give each other flowers, candy, or gifts, parents might give their children candy or small gifts, but it's not gender oriented. A man is as likely to gift as a woman. Wnen I was young it was common for children to give little valentine cards to every child in one's class. I don't think that's common anymore, though.
Well Japan is little different, 14 feb valentine is chocolate time for boys. Girl will give mainly chocolate to the boys. In march 14 there is white day. Which btw return gift for the girls. Boys give back candy or cookie or other gift if they receive chocolate on valentine. That’s as far as as I know though
It's sort of different since there are 2 types of chocolate There's a "friend/obligation chocolate" (can be handmade or store bought) where girls will give out to other girls or boys they're friend with. And there's a "true love" chocolate (usually handmade) where girls will give out to boys they like, and on white day, it's the boys turn to return the favor back to who gave them chocolate, if the boy like the girl who gave out that true chocolate the return gift will be more extravagant than normal gift and they would start a relationship.
Very cool, i love chocolate, and in Brazil we don't need to import cocoa, because our country produces cocoa by itself, we have huge farms in the state of Bahia. One more thing, i think that Brazil is the only country when Valentine's day is on June 12th, because of the portuguese influence, June 12th is a day dedicated to St. Anthony, a Catholic Portuguese saint who is famous for help people find a husband or a wife.
My husband and I (in the US) don’t give each other gifts. Instead, we splurge and get take out food or go out to a nice dinner and enjoy each other’s company. We look at that as a mutual gift to each other so we don’t have to worry about buying gifts or preparing a big meal. It gives us time to focus on each other and enjoy that time eating, talking, if we’re at home watching our favorite shows or a movie.
Oh DIG DIG you shouldn’t have. A valentines video for me? Oooh it’s soooo sweet! lol I just ❤️ it! I got you “ a comment and a 👍 “ I remember they are your favorites. Happy valentines DIG DIG JAPAN- sigh… I’m so glad we are subscribed. 🤣😂😁
I love this video its so fun to see your valentine gifts and sweets thank you. In South Africa some people go all out haha its sweets and flowers and so many more things. I dont do valentines day im a widow so yes but its fun to see others enjoy it
Mmmmm I really enjoyed this I loved the chocolate gnash cakes you warmed up they looked Devine ! In fact it all looked fabulous . I’ve never seen chocolate covered potato chips before they looked great I’m hungry now ! Think you’ll be awake for days after all that sugar 😂❤
In the states it's sorta considered more 'traditional' for your boyfriend to give you chocolate, but it's not unusual for each person to give the other a little candy as a gift :3 Me and my partner order a dessert at dinner and share it. When I was a little kid it was common for everyone to get valentines party favors to give out during class, so each kid got an equal amount of valentines that day kind of as a way to make new friends or the teacher would put something together for each of us. Usually just a small treat like a lollipop, not a whole box of chocolates.
Oh.. I have been waiting for this one. I am hoping for a little sass from sweet Mrs. Dig.. lol Edit- I like the stickers even if they are odd. I love whipped cream too. Very adorable to share with your partner. I hope I was not offensive to say Mrs. Thank you. I enjoyed the video. Oh, I give Valentines to men and women.
here in the states you can give chocolate to both genders and it doesnt have to be just chocolate . it can be from different candies/sweets, fruits and even chocolate covered snacks or normal everyday savory and sweet snacks
I'm (still) alone for this year's Valentines Day, but I'm thankful these vids are here ❤ as a female Pokemon fan myself, I'd love those chocolates tho!

My favorite thing to dip in fondue are pretzel sticks. Salty crunchy dipped in creamy sweet is the best combination.
The way you said " sorry " to the sinking macho man 😂😂😂😂
All look good!
As someone that has baked before, you did very well!
Very funny sweets. I like them. 😊 The My Melody cookies are perfect👍
i loved seeing all that chocolate ❤🍫🍫🍫
