Here are the details of the Yatra:
ROUTE:
Rishikesh - Rudraprayag - Sonprayag - Gaurikund - Kedarnath Trek (approx. 20 km) - Kedarnath Temple
TRANSPORTATION:
Rishikesh - Rudraprayag - INR 260
Rudraprayag - Sonprayag - INR 300-400
Sonprayag - Gaurikund - INR 50 (These are fixed so be aware of frauds)
STAYS:
Stay 1 Rishikesh - Hostel
Stay 2 Sonprayag - Hotel Mandir Samiti - INR 1600 for a single room (with double bed)
Stay 3 Kedarnath - Hotel New Himachal -INR 1000 - 5000 per bed ( as per the crowd)
Stay 4 Sonprayag - Hotel Prayag Raj INR 1000 - 5000 per bed (another branch of Hotel Mandir Samiti ) - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
There are more options for you to stay in like Dorms, Dharmshala, GMVN Tents (at various locations on the way to Temple) or you can carry YOUR OWN TENTS as well for the best experience.
FOOD:
Sonprayag - Hotel Prayag Raj &Restaurant - Highly Highly recommended with the best food and the sweetest staff (Pradeep Rawat: 7895631963 )
During trek: You will find various pit spots and stalls to help you keep going but do carry healthy snacks and energy drinks along with you.
- carry at least two of your own water bottle
- carry your own Medicines even if you are not prone to AMS
- carry your own raincoat & Umbrella
- winter wear is essential
- carry a POWER BANK

After darshan... Did u stayed somewhere in tent near the temple ? Or u were awake all night.. ? .. Will be get any quilts there near the temple?
We stayed in a hotel nearby the Temple, but a few of my friends stayed in the tent as well.

We are planning to go on 18th June it is right time to visit there or not ??
f you are planning June for then make sure you register yourself online in advance. Just be careful and make sure you don't rush for anything. And yes, Kedarnath is overcrowded this time so be prepared in advance. All the very best and have a great experience there :)

Jai Jai Kedara. The management is responsible for the super inconvenience caused to so many pilgrims. They need to learn from the website of Tirupati Balaji and Shirdi Sai Baba. The helicopter demand is so much and their website called heliservices is the worst website I have ever seen since 1997. The GMVN website is also pathetic. To make it easy, they can simply outsource the work to national prestigious IT companies such as Tata, Infosys or CTS probably. Imagine how well the Indian Passport service has been improved after TATA started managing the project. When a common man tries to visit Shri Kedarnath Ji or Badrinath Ji, we have to consider and plan our accommodation in Haridwar or Rishikesh, then Kedarnath and Badrinath and then the Helicopter service and finally the registration of Char Dham. It is really challenging to have a sync of all of these services or facilities. The government actually has a great potential to generate revenue also if they really plan all these facilities like a one stop shop for all the pilgrims. For now... Sadly and unfortunately,truly unhappy with the whole administration of the Char Dham Yatra Board or Trust. They are behaving as if they are still in 1980s or so. Pathetic arrangements. I thank the vlogger here for sharing the ground reality of the situation.
Indeed! There are a few points that the Uttarakhand gov really needs to work on for the sake of the safety of the pilgrims and for a better experience of the Char Dham Yatra.

Hello Mam, is there any way to book a room in hotels or tents at kedarnath dham offline because online its showing full.
You can definitely ask for help from locals like chai wala, and Khacchar wala or can directly communicate with the staff of the Hotel/Dharamshala & tents as they do have rooms & tents available offline.

I am planning to go there but I don't want rush to be there. I am going alone. please reply
If you are going in the peak season then you will get a lot of crowd around the temple as people start lining up really early in the morning (2am onwards)So I would suggest you plan accordingly :)

Actually me and my family members are planning to visit kedarnath on 5 june so i wanna know that do we have to do online registration for the lines and is it dangerous to travel right now like in the news people's are saying that its kinda crowded and earthquake and all are happening so i request you to give me some information about traveling to kedarnath so we can have safe and happy journey
If you are planning for 5 June then make sure you register yourself online in advance. As you are planning with your family please be careful and make sure you don't rush for anything.
