The scenery around those waterfalls is amazing, the environment seems like a fairyland!
Those stones turned into the most natural slippery slide, it looks like a lot of fun!

The accommodation has a really great setup. Personal kayak suitable for the both of you is a neat touch👍🏻 and you can never go with a waterfall trip!!!
I like Kanchanaburi province, last year I went to Erawan waterfall Nation Park as the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand. For Srinakarin Dam as the biggest water capacity dam in Thailand is far from Erawan waterfall about 13 Km. , you can walk and take a photo on it. Furthermore, you can make the adventure in Phrathad Cave due to in side cave is not have lighting. But the Nation Park keeper will lead with lighting you for visit in that cave .
I really enjoyed seeing the floating resort! Your accommodations were wonderful! The scenery around is beautiful. It seem very affordable for all the different amenities. The cascading waters were so beautiful to see and to hear! The monkeys were adorable too. Thank you so much for taking us to the waterfalls. Stunning place to visit! Stayed on one of these house boats years ago (nothing fancy) and got chewed by mosquitoes.
Obviously no AC.
We took trip down the river on one of those long-tail boats...the kayaks seems to be so much better.
Rural Thailand is beautiful and a more authentic experience.

You're staying in the exact same floating cabin at Cross River Kwai I rented in December 2022. We really enjoyed our stay there. Soo relaxing. Thank you for sharing. I wish I would have bought that robe. I was going to but completely forgot.
We stayed in the area about 10 years ago, stoped at the Hintok river camp. Visiting the hellfire pass museum was a highlight. We enjoyed the waterfalls and it was great swimming with the fish, did the little fish nibble your toes and sliding down the natural rock slides into the pool.

If water ‘suddenly changes’ color to brown, you should get out of the water immediately. There could be a strong flash flood coming. But don’t worry too much because waterfalls in all Thai national parks are monitored regularly. The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation will close the areas once it could be dangerous for visitors. Simply comply to officers’ warnings and instructions then you are surely safe.
That place looks awesome. I’m going to try to make it there in the next few weeks

The fish were biting when we were there a few years ago. It’s unfortunate because it was so hot and those fish were not leaving us alone!

Yeah the Erawan waterfalls are one of the best things to see in Thailand, and Kanchanaburi in his whole is a great place to spend a week or so.
Gotta say that prices are also pretty steep, 67$ for a taxi is way too much, even if he waits a couple of hours.
