    Very cool! Do you know what top temperature you reach in your firing? About how large is your firing chamber?

      @@grandcarriage1 John said the temperature of the kiln is 1300 degrees C and the packing chamber is 120 cubic feet.

    How much does the residue from prior firings effect the finish.

      John said that a lot of the pots have been fired three times or 120 hours. So the residue has a key to the unique quality. Also within the kiln itself, the more mature the kiln gets the better the pots get.

      @@CC6842 I suspected so, I've been working on building a wood fire kiln big enough to walk in to. And have been contemplating how to session it. I think I know what I want to do now. Thank for the input, very helpful.
