Coming back to these videos now that these have been withdrawn, i suspect they never had kickdown but this was just throttle pumping as there are two drivers at MB who were really fond of the scanias so it was probably one of them in this and was definitely one in my video of the same vehicles (since I followed him on instagram afterwards). Its a shame they're gone for real now but at least they got 2 extra years after the 293 left. Wish I had captured 968/9 on the 353 now as that was on my radar
I think this thing had a gearbox fault, looking back - it was constantly acting like this, even when I had a slow driver trundling along Bromley Common at 25mph it was just holding the top of third gear and refusing to change up. I never saw any of the other ex-293 ones acting like this.
I may or may not have just done an end to end journey on this bus with the driver flooring it for majority of the route, my video is gonna end up being over 30 minutes long lol.
@@gloriouswater538 Maybe a little. Its definitely the weirdest N230 i've been on as well but is powerful. Would've been more enjoyable if the local roadmen didnt decide to sit at the back and act like idiots but they werent on for that long thankfully.
I'm surprised I didn't get any of that in my area, bearing in mind it's Neasden and Harlesden I live near. Then again, I doubt there'd be space on a 112 to even fit them inside.
Great video. ☺️

Great Catch

It's Halloween night lol. There were like 20 of them upstairs on my 61 shouting about dicks, you just have to deal with it I guess

I like the scania omnicity better than the Mercedes Benz Citaro
Never in a million years! But i prefer the Euro 5s on the 108 to the Euro6s on the 358
Was this bus involve the fire Last night?
Yeah, sadly it's believed to have been destroyed in the fire.
Latest news is that apparently it didn't get destroyed. So now I'm not sure, but I hope that's true.
561 is at MB Now
