Those two rulers don’t look like the converge anywhere near the center of that pattern. What am I missing?

Pages are missing bc she stopped laying out pages once she found the top & left-hand arrow signifying the middle. Where those 2 arrows cross is the center. You only need a quarter of a grid to find the center.
