Last week I got an oil change on my 2013 Freightliner Cascadia DD13. They put more than 20 gallons of oil in my engine when it only takes around 10. After riding around like this for a week, my low oil pressure light started coming on. So I took it back to where I got my oil changed and they drained it and put the correct amount of oil in it. However my low oil pressure light keeps coming on and my oil pressure actually dropped to zero a couple of times. The oil pressure is bouncing up and down a lot especially when I’m accelerating and decelerating. Took it to Freightliner and they said the code was inactive and they cleared the code. They told me that they couldn’t find the problem. I’m afraid to drive it now. Do you think this could be the oil pressure sensor? What problems can arise from driving an overfilled with oil engine for more than 3,000 miles.? Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank u for the good video 👍🏻 I changed the oil Pressure sensor and pressure was fine but I still have the same code & check engine light on ( oil pressure sensor service engine soon )
If it is a bad sensor it will have a code 99% of the time generally your feel it and how the truck is responding the throttle your fuel mixture you can actually check your sensor if there's no code and the device is reading poor Knox performance compared to what it should be reading things like that
Hey John. My truck freightliner DD 15 shut down today suddenly when i started my day and hit th road with check engine and stop engine lights and oil pressure guage red light flashing. But no diag codes. You know what it cud be ? Bad sensor or smthin else
Hi body, you forgot to put the in the description... by the way video was really helpful thanks..
Do you know the size socket for the coolant sensor?
Will a bad oil pressure sensor make a truck not complete a regen
Boos you got the part number fir both of them thank you in advance my truck it’s a 2014 cascadia dd15

Hey budd what the link for the scan tool you have?
Good video but you really just talk too much rather getting to the point
I know shut up and get to the pont. Dont give a shit about your tools.

How much where the parts each
Thx for the information
How do you usually know, based on the code of course, that is the bad sensor, but not something major related to this or that sensor
If it is a bad sensor it will have a code 99% of the time generally your feel it and how the truck is responding the throttle your fuel mixture you can actually check your sensor if there's no code and the device is reading poor Knox performance compared to what it should be reading things like that
Thanks good video to learn from
