Dear Master! Can gargling be used as a vocal exercise?
Yes. I do itf all the time! MT
Dear Michael, is there always a small stream of air when doing the tongue trill? In one of your videos you said the air doesn't really leak on the tongue trill. Though, there is always a small stream of air when I do it.
Dear Timbre~ do u have any contact?
Hi Mr Trimble. How are you???I hope great. I would like, if it's possible, to know what's your opinion about this video.

Here is Giangiacomo Guelfi explaining (in the 0:10) that we dont' have to sing in the mask, as you always say. But, when he demonstrate how to do it, i notice that he is like "covering the sound or modifying the vowels". Maybe I'm wrong, but I hear like a slight yawn behing that voice. Do you think that is not correct?
Also in this video of Pavarotti (in the 00.17) says that we have to cover the sounds.

This is a topic that makes me so confuse, because I find two different approaches.
I know you say that the" covered voice" happens as a consequence of the correct breathing but looking this videos of Pavarotti and Guelfi, I get the feeling that they provoke that voice.
I would love to hear your opinion.
Thanks so much.
