I can't get over how awesome that song is towards the end. It really does feel like they took a battle theme from SMT 1 or SMT if and just remastered it to sound new and modern
I love how consistent all the SMT soundtracks are.

I hope the new Nahobino form isn't limited only to that new area
at 2:14 you can see the form outside of that new area in what looks to be the Da'at Taito area
It can probably be taken out of the new area, but it will also be so late in the game that you will have no real reason to do so.

@@jonathangoodwin5609 In the trailer, some non boss enemies are hitting the party for 400k+ dmg, which is substantially higher than any enemy mob would do to a decent end game party, even on hard difficulty.
It could be these new Demon Hunt areas have amped up enemies in them, and would give you at least some reason to go back.

I bought a Switch just, and only to play this masterpiece. Best turn-based RPG I've ever played since FF6 as a kid.
Sorry to ruin your fantasy and nostalgia but literally the vanilla SMT 5 had a lot of issues, specially its horrible level scaling
@@alexisferr3883can you explain the level scaling issue? I only played the vanilla for about 100+ hours and around level 50-60ish but then i got tired and dropped. I couldnt tell if im even halfway through the game tbh
@alexisferr3883 I enjoyed it, flaws and all. More so than that snoozefest Persona 5 Royal.
I loved it too. Vengeance looks even better too its incredible.
@@xichigo209x if you're lower level than the boss/enemy, you will do significantly less damage than if you're at or above their level. this also works in the reverse, making it incredibly easy to steamroll anything just by leveling up a bit. basically your level becomes a significant crutch, at least in comparison to some other smt games. it mostly just hurts the viability of being lower level and not having to grind at points throughout the game. as an aside, they've mentioned working on this for Vengeance, but i'm not confident personally just based on some of the damage numbers i've seen.
I love how the PS4 just doesn't stop getting games, even though I already have the PS5, I'm glad they still haven't forgotten about the players who couldn't buy the PS5
SMT V should be played by as many people who like RPGs. A win for everyone.

I use my PS4 far more than my PS5 since I don't emulate PS4 games on PS5, just cleaned the badboy got it a new thermal paste coat and it's better than ever, gonna use for many years to come since I have a huge backlog.

@nr2676 Naa the closest prior to this character for me was the Mc in digital Devil saga because u actually get to fight demi fiend
Demi fiend was never that cool. He's an edgy oc type character. He is 'cool' in a middle school fantasy, juvenile type of way.

I would like it to come out in a physical version for PS4, I'm worried that the same thing will happen with Metaphor Re fantazio, I really have hype for everything that Atlus is bringing this year
It's difficult to release 2 physical versions because it costs more. This is is why they prefer moving over to the latest console sooner every generation. But I didn't see anywhere a confirmation on the physical version.

@dinisb the disk contains only one copy. Either PS5 or PS4, and it gives you the license for the other one. Usually, the ps5 version is the digital one.

Like I do with all Atlus games these days, I’ll wait until it’s TRULY complete and bargain binned for $20-$30. Last I bought ATLUS was P5R for like $30 on sale. Will be same for Re fantzio. Will be same for P6 if it ever comes out. If they’d just charged extra for DLC upgrade, they’d still have a customer in me, but full price for add on content, naaah. Will never support.

You know what Pokemon was getting in trouble for in the 90s? Well, these guys actually incorporate themes that would get those crowds riled up if they were popular in the US back then.
Think of it like Pokemon but this actually predates Pokemon so this series is the godfather of Collecting monster genre
Should have came out on PlayStation sooner. Playing on switch was unbearable.

@@uria3679i don’t but when it drops lower than even 30 fps on switch and it looking as bad as it does it can be very distracting. Especially in cutscenes and even when exploring the world. Some games just dont need to be on switch. This should have released on ps and pc at launch. Those platforms should have took priority for a better experience for fans and players.
I played it on switch, so I know you are full of it. It really wasn't that bad.

@@uria3679 yes, I also don't need to play games at 15fps, the game was so unplayable on switch in late areas it was like moving in slowmo, this game was the literal reason I stopped buying games on switch and started emulating them,

It was the opposite of a flop though. You mean you're crossing your fingers this will have better fan reception? The only reason we have Vengeance is because of how well it sold in comparison to past titles.
It's been 5 years and the players are now waiting for Ghost of Tsushima Part 2 to come to PS5. Please introduce the game at the showcase in May, we are waiting with great hopes.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I wish they'd lose the stuffed animals. The plots are usually nice and dark, but the kid stuff ruins the emersion. Visuals should be darker and more, for lack of a better word, grown-up.
But shin megami tensei has always had some fun characters with weird designs I feel like that gives this series more character than other games that go for a more gritty feel which I really think wouldn't work for SMT but idk that might just be how I feel
