Hi, I’m currently in the process of making my first indie horror film, and there is a scene in the lobby of a retro-style movie theatre. Several shots in the theatre lobby would be perfect for the sound effects of a big movie theatre popcorn machine running in the background. So I wanted to ask you if I could use the audio of the popcorn popping in your machine as a sound effect in my movie? Just the sound of popcorn popping, no voices.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! The sounds of that professional-grade popcorn machine will give that scene such an authentic atmosphere. I really appreciate this!
Thanks for another great video! I just have a quick question. Is there a reason a lot of the mushroom popcorn didn't pop into the usual big round pieces like in your kettle corn videos?
Thank you so much! Great question! Sometimes if it’s dumped too early it winds up leaving some un-popped kernels. Thank you again! We really appreciate the support!!
Hey there! Recently got a Great Northern 8 oz popcorn machine. Tried it out the first time using their all in one popcorn packets. The issue is it turned out chewy almost like cardboard. Thinking it’s possible too much moisture from the steam caused this. Wondering what tips you have to allow for the popcorn to really have that movie theater crunch. Tips like if the glass doors should be kept open or closed while cooking, and any other overall tips you may have. Thank you in advance!
Hi! Cool that you got an 8oz Great Northern! I've had others ask about why their popcorn is chewy and too much moisture. You nailed the answer in your question as most who have this issue keep the doors closed while popping and don't let the steam escape. Try keeping the doors open during popping. You may get a stray kernel here and there fly out, but it definitely works a lot better. If your popper has the built in tray warmer in the bottom that can also help keep your popcorn crunchy. A couple other quick tips is to preheat your kettle before adding ingredients. My other one is a popper tends to pop better with better flavor if you keep it clean between uses. Thank you so much for the question and for sharing your purchase! We really appreciate you watching. Let us know if any other questions or issues come up. Thank you!! 🙏🍿🍿
hI, iF i dumped sugar in that --with the Flavacol-the way you just did it- would it make it almost like a butter salty kettle, or no? Or is that just a bad ides? lol
You should definitely give that a try! It makes it like a buttery kettle corn. Add the Flavacol, oil, and kernels together, once it starts to pop add the sugar. Keep on poppin'! 😄
@@PopcornGenius OK I will!! Needed confirmation... I cant start popping till next week-so all my questions are me trying to get my ducks in order (I have to be in a commercial kitchen and have to have everything i need with me-its better i learn what really just doesn't work and use time tweaking what does work, this rental is by the hour)
Theater style popcorn 🍿 yum yum super yum 😋
Fun to make and yummy to eat 😀. Thank you for watching!! 🙏
