My battery is on lower level of acid, i thought of changing the acid to refill new acid, so what should I do. To top up distilled water or to remove the acid and then put distilled water and shake it, after that remove the water and put new acid???
@@MACHKNIGHT what if the liquid spilled while the battery was being delivered, and the battery is new and hasn't been connected to anything yet, what will be refilled? Should I add electrolyte or distilled water?
It depends on how much lower the level are, if it below half top it up, it takes 6 month to get the level go below half, so just top up with good quality distilled water, but always do switch off the electricity coming to ups and battery, to stop the reaction of battery, when we open the battery caps o fill distilled water. Battery water available in battery seller place, its distilled water made for batteries. So buy from reputable sources. Don't use low standard battery distilled water. Use always good quality
@@MACHKNIGHT you did not get my question correct, while transporting acid water drained from my battery. Therefore the acid and water ratio has been reduced and battery gravity become 1.15 or 1150 when full charged. Now what acid and which standard of acid I should mix up in my battery acid water
Same battery water, thats all, it will become normal, if you still have doubt then you can also ask the battery dealer from where you bought it. He will also say the same.
This is absolutely a wrong way to top up battery water. While filling water the main power line should be on and also the battery should be on charging.
Safe side is to switch off power line and turn system off, because the battery acid fumes is not good for health and if the system is on, you will enhale more fumes.
