Hi there Great videos. I'd like to c more commercial pool systems like hotels etc. Another in depth video on how the automatic systems work. I learned a lot from u. I'm now a cpo :)
Coming soon. I have a few videos already on those subjects posted. Just posting these as I build them so that part of the training comes later. He is starting week 3 right now.
It's a pretty obscure part and I know it is hard to Google. Here it is. Connects two standard vacuum hoses together: www.amazon.com/Hayward-AXV092-Automatic-Cleaner-Connector/dp/B002ZUVNM2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405629360&sr=8-1&keywords=hayward+vac+hose+connector
I did that and now I don't have ANY SUCTION and my pump isn't "full" of water. It looks like there is lots of air. I tried using a bladder on the suction side in the skimmer and the pump. What could be wrong?
what about vacuuming speed? I notice that the faster you move the more you disturb the dirt or Floc gel. oh and good news, my main drains weren't blocked off. I was told that the 2 main drains for the pool and the 2 main drains for the spa are "tee'd" to each other and they go to one pipe that goes to the pump. I had to prime the main drains to get them to provide suction. NOW my pool is clearing up on it's own!
Good to hear. I f you have good suction and a good vacuum head like this Pentair Pro Vac you can go at a good pace. Poor suction and a cheap vacuum head not so much.
I'm still working on what the best suction split is for my pool. the skimmer and main drains share a valve. I want the most aggressive suction for both. that will keep my pool clear and nice.

Do you ever just put on spa suction and brush the debris into main drain?
Good videos but you should do more about the pumps and backwash and rinse

thanks! I was going to buy a 50 ft hose for almost $60 when I could just buy another 25 ft hose for $20 and this adapter.

Thank you so much for these videos, you've answered all of my questions!!!
If there’s beach sand do you vacuum to waste or on filter? While using a sand filter.
To waste
