Talent would affect how fast you could learn beatbox, but anyone can learn beatbox, but not in the same pace. I started beatboxing a year ago, now I learned most of the thinks I thought weren't physically possible a year back. Beatbox is a skill that can be trained rather than a talent.
Remix is probably a great example of that. Man have been thriving ever since that one shoutout.

thats like saying anyone can learn chess.. its still not like if u start to learn chess that you could beat magnus carlsen. There is still a lot about beatbox that has to do with talent. Even something as having a tooth gap can be used to your advantage.

on god, i saw a tutorial for liprolls and i was like "nah not me" but then i tried to learn it and within about a month i got the liproll down pat

I think most people would say D-low is best currently, he’s 2019 champion. Colaps is 2021 champion, but D-low beat him in 2019 and was a judge in 2021, so they haven’t competed recently.

I think you're probably misinterpreting what some people mean when they say it's not a talent. In my opinion it's a skill, it's really difficult yes, but everyone can pick it up to different extends depending of how much of their life they're willing to invest to it. I remember I almost didn't start to beatbox because I thought I didn't have the "talent" for it, but reality is it's more about how much you practice and how good your practice sessions are.
Me personally I'm never going to be a professional beatboxer, but that's cause I don't practice enough to be. There's a part that's talent, but it's mostly hard work.
D-low for example said he started at 2006 and wasn't good until 2013. That's 7 years of work before pay-off. That seems more like hard-work than talent to me.
@@enmanuel1950 You’re correct in terms of having to learn beatbox in order to become a beat boxer, but what you’re saying isn’t necessarily true. Talent involves skill, but on a level above people who just practice to achieve sounds that other people had made. These sounds people make (such as the lip roll) have been created by someone who is talented, someone who has the natural creativity and skill that made the sound. There are skilled beat boxers, and there are talented ones. The ones we see on stage/official beatboxing features are the talented ones, hence making the beat boxers we see in these videos talented. (I also just want to add that talented beatboxers are also skilled beatboxers by the definition of talent)

Its most probably not entirely talent, the current champion right now is Colaps which have been in the scene for like 8-10 years if I'm not mistaken? It will help a lot tho if you have a musical background but that's about it (the advantage being having better internal metronome, musical theory and shi)
So many insane beat boxers who are all unique. My favs are D Low, Vocodah, and Hiss

you should definitely check out angra from azel, its essentially a follow up video to demuth! dlow sbx winner compilation is also an incredible performance and he is widely considered the best in the world. colaps from france won grand beatbox battle 2022 which is the world championship (dlow was judging this year and did not compete)

You should check D-LOW. Probably the best beatboxer in the world right now. Hes from the UK and haven't lost a battle since 2019.

In beatbox, talent is linked to your rate of progression rather than just being naturally gifted. Most people can learn most sounds in beatbox but at wildly different rates. A friend of mine who has very little interest in beatboxing can learn any beatbox sound he finds interesting in a fraction of the time it would take me because he has a natural aptitude for it. It takes me longer to get there but I still do eventually.

Azel is Russian champ I love azel but dlow is my fav dlow 4times champ and gbb2019 champ....dlow called the G.O.A.T greatest of all time
I thought either Improver or Mad Twinz were Russian champs. Azel is the Italian champ
I don't think there's that much of a talent factor in beatboxing really, some of these guys have like 10+ years of practice and D-Low, who is considered the #1 beatboxer in the world by most has been doing it for 15 years now I think. You should check out D-Low's GBB21 Judge Showcase if you wanna see the man in action. Of course there are those who learn faster but I think anyone can get good at it.
