hey girl, not all rap is damaging towards women, or violent. i know most big rappers on the charts and radio seem to only talk about nasty stuff, but there are PLENTY of goodhearted rap songs and artists out there, if you just look for them. a specific music style or genre cannot equal a specific set of morals or subjects. okay have fun at your concert! can't wait for your next speedbuild video!!!!

yess like i notice the damaging, violent rap usually comes from male rappers. Generally I just think female rappers kinda eat up the men these days like!!
If I had to recommend i’d say try out women rappers or check out rappers not from the west. My vote goes to Megan Thee Stallion and the 3 rappers in BTS- RM, J-hope and Suga/Agust D (an alias, so 2 different artist accounts 💀).
I haven’t listened to Megan enough to give a proper review for what her music is like but the rappers from BTS all have different flows and styles for music. Agust D basically has a sound similar to what you’d expect from a rapper, RM’s albums are a mix of rap, r&b with some jazz and pop thrown in there, and j-hope overall has more upbeat songs, mostly like y2k hip hop (? if that makes sense). All three step outside the genres they usually do in their albums so I’m really over simplifying it but yeah. Also under BTS they do solo songs or songs with the three of them together. My favourite song, Ddaeng, is not even on Spotify lol. It only exists in Soundcloud and ig youtube 😭

Edit: also, im not sure if frank ocean is a rapper? More a singer but i really recommend him!
