വളരെപണ്ട്, റിയാലിറ്റി ഷോകളൊക്കെ വരുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് , ഞാൻ വയലിൻ പഠിക്കാൻ പോയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ മ്യൂസിക് സാർ സംഗതികളെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയാറുണ്ട് ... ie ശരത് പറയുന്ന പോലെ വളരേ പണ്ടേ ഉള്ളതാണ് സംഗതി ... സംഗതികളുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യമാണ് ഒരു പാട്ടിനെ ആസ്വാദ്യകരമാക്കുന്നത് ... ഇന്നിപ്പോൾ പല മിമിക്രി ഷോകളിലും മറ്റും സംഗതി , ഷഡ്ജം എന്നൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞ് A- സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് ചിരിയും ചിരിച്ച് പലരും നിൽക്കുന്നത് മലയാളികളിൽ അടുത്ത കാലത്ത് മുള പൊട്ടിയ മുൻപിൻ നോക്കാതെ എന്തിനേയും പുച്ഛിക്കുന്ന ട്രോൾ സംസ്കാരത്തിന് അടിപ്പെട്ടതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ...
പിന്നെ ഒരു റിയാലിറ്റി ഷോയിൽ പാടിക്കഴിഞ്ഞ് കമന്റിന് കാത്തുനിൽക്കുന്ന കുട്ടിയോട് " നന്നായി മോനെ / മോളെ " എന്ന് ഒഴുക്കനായി പറഞ്ഞാൽ ആ കുട്ടിയ്‌ക്കോ കേൾക്കുന്നവർക്കോ ഒരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ല ... തീർച്ചയായും പാടിയതിനെ സത്യസന്ധമായി വിലയിരുത്തുക തന്നെ വേണം ... (സത്യത്തിൽ ശരത്തും ഔസേപ്പച്ചനുമൊക്കെ ഇങ്ങനെ വിശദമായി പറഞ്ഞതു കൊണ്ടല്ലേ സംഗതി എന്ന സംഗതിയുണ്ടെന്ന് ഒരു സാധാരണക്കാരനു പോലും മനസ്സിലായത് ?) ... anyway ശ്രീ.ശരത്തിന് എല്ലാ വിധ ആശംസകളും ....
ശ്രീ രാഗമോ എന്ന ഒറ്റ പാട്ട് മതി ശരത് സാറെ. മനസിനെ ശാന്തമാകുന്ന ഇത്ര മനോഹരം ആയ മെലഡി മലയികൾക്കു സമാനിച്ച ശരത് സർ നു ഒത്തിരി നന്ദി.
For me Sarath is equal to AR Rahman. Unfortunatly he is born in Kerala.

This interview brings to the fore Sharat as a music director , his experiences in the field of music and his transformation as a music director of repute. Questions were
asked about his expertise in the classical music as he has already proved his mettle
in this branch of Music. He has paid due respect to Yesudas , saying that he is
altogether a different singer and 80 percent of his compositions were presented by
Yesudas . As a music composer , some times he feels pressurised , as one has to
work hard in order create an impact in the minds of the listeners. Sharat is a
music director , whose potential has not been used fully by the Film Industry.
He should be given due acceptance in the field of music.

We always have to look at things with a positive frame of mind.
These kind of wild allegations against a music director is
tantamount to adding more salt to the wound , which can damage
the reputation of the conerned person both personally and
professionally. It would be better if we desisit from doing so.
A music director's job is not as easy as we think. In this world of
competition, composing a song and getting recognition from
the world of listeners is a herculian task , and one should always
try to appereciate the good work done by them , which will turn
out to be a source of encouragement for them to move forward
and taste success.
This may be quite accidental, may not be a deliberate act. One always has to make an attempt to enjoy music in the right spirit.

ചോദിക്കുന്ന ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ഒന്നും തന്നെ കാമ്പില്ലത്തവ ആണ്. പാട്ടിഷ്ടപെടുന്ന ഒരു മലയാളിയും ശരത് സാറിൻ്റെ പാട്ടിനെ കുറ്റം പറയില്ല. ഓരോ പാട്ടും മലയാളികൾ ഇന്നും നെഞ്ചോട് ചേർത്ത് പിടിക്കുന്നവയാണ്. പാടുന്ന പോലെ അത്ര എളുപ്പമല്ല ഒരു പാട്ടുണ്ടക്കുന്നത്. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞത് വളരെ ശരിയാണ്. പുതിയ ഒരു tune ചെയ്യുക, അതും കഥയുടെ സന്ദർഭത്തിന് അനുസരിച്ച് വളരെ ശ്രമകരമായ ജോലി ആണ്.
