    You do a great job for learning this on your own. We use frosted scotch tape over the Saran Wrap going side to side and we draw the hair line to include recess in the front hair line, take the mold off, cut it out mark the density.

    I keep seeing people drawing these template but forgetting the little "Triangle" near the temple that drops down. People without baldness have hair there, I have seen some really good templates with those drawn/factored in. If you are DIY'ing this, don't forget that top temple sides of your hairline.

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  3 года назад

      That really is not for everyone. And I personally think that area will fail fast, so its risky to do

    • @AJ-on-youtube
      @AJ-on-youtube 2 года назад

      I ALWAYS include that part. You have to have it if your hairline is lower than a certain point (or shaped a certain way) or it won't look right. It's less necessary for higher hairlines, or if you still naturally have that part of your hair.
      Unless you're talking about "temple flaps". Those are a more extensive portion of temple hair that goes down the sides in front of the temple peaks and I don't bother with those.

    • @AJ-on-youtube
      @AJ-on-youtube 2 года назад

      Although if you cut out too much behind that part then you have to be careful to put the piece on just right or there can be a gap behind there.

    The hairpiece I received in the mail today came with a clear plastic to hold the hair in place for storage purposes. I just realized that I can use that OVAL SHAPED PLASTIC to draw the outline of the bald spot on my scalp. Soooo much easier. The invisiskin hairline is awesome and the hair quality is very satisfying. Thank you for all your videos.

    Is it better to shave an even oval like that even if you still have some hair in the back and sides? Does that make it look more natural or should you try and keep any of the hair you have? I worry about the crown area looking off if I don't completely shave it all like you did. Love your vids and you look good brotha.

      Sam Spaulding thanks you!! I leave the sides kinda long because it want it to blend a little. But when I started I didn't have that hair on the sides and it did fine. Just trying different stuff 👍

    What a great wife mine did not know I went to hair club for 5 years. U won't believe this. After $29"000 I paid them and they were great changed staff never got it right. I complained to get it right. Got a call from the real president of the company. He took my membership!! I suffered with being a musician and playing out with my old system fits Of anxiety and wasent me. The manager of the place said wash your hair dailey of course so by doing this I have to buy another matrix faster. I know a stylest there who told me they will do a bad cut on purpose to get the client to buy another system. I had signed a piece of paper for 2"cut they cut my hair from 12" to "5 I complained. Your gone!!!! I respect u for doing this yourself. Funny my wife was so happy with my hair like u I look in my early 30s with the care. I got something on line sent my piece in looked great great quality but the contour is wrong. What a year!!!!,

    Is your lace piece a stock or a custom unit?
    What about the new skin piece, stock or custom?

    I'm seriously thinking about buying. in your FQA you mentioned (InvisiLace or SuperLace) lasts between 3-6 months, so is the the unit as a whole or just the glue/fitting?

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 лет назад

      That’s the unit as a whole.
      Typically your first one (being new and learning) will last a little less.
      Glue (refitting) is about every 2 weeks.
      Lmk if I can help!!

    I've been combing (no pun intended) through your videos this evening and wanted to say thank you. You reminded me why I decided to shave my head 20 years ago, toss out the toupees, and never regret it. Life without toupees is so much simpler and I ended up getting more women throughout my life without the hairpieces than I did with them. Your videos really are great at showing men what's actually involved in dealing with hairpieces. Great job!

    • @johnnyp921
      @johnnyp921 6 лет назад +3

      It wasnt the Hairpiece which held you back from getting women. It was the Insecurity inside yourself while wearing it

      Montclair's Lair 20 years ago the toupees would have been tottaly different to now. They look fantastic and some people are not as yet ready to go bald and bold.

    So when you are cutting the system to match the template, you obviously cannot cut anywhere near the front since you have specifically designed hairline shape into that part, is that right?

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 лет назад

      Yes, we suggest not to cut the hairline. If fine tuning is needed plucking is the best option

    @HairExperience As far as the template goes, wouldn't it make more sense to trace more of your natural recession at the hairline? Your system looks unbelievably great and I think it would look even more undetectable if you traced more recession? Think Justin Theroux vs Justin Bieber, more realistic or age appropriate

      You really need the outline of the affected area BEFORE you shave your head. It should be clearly visible. Kinda get an idea of the area prior to putting on the wrap. Then you well see it clearly once its on there!!
