Aria escapes the clutches of her ex-boyfriend Klaus, but she hasn’t escaped the nightmare he put her through. Aria knows he is out there looking for her and she fears for not only her life but the life of her daughter. Klaus stalks Aria (the clips of Klaus that fade into black and white are him stalking her). When he Aria is vulnerable and alone he takes her and their daughter. It is later shown in a flashback that Aria found drawings of another woman (Caroline) and she destroys her shared house with Klaus. Klaus finds her and his fear of losing her is revealed to be the reason of him keeping her prisoner. Aria resists Klaus, but he uses their daughter against her to make her more complaint.
