I keep one of those cooling towels you just get them wet and they stay pretty cool I also always keep a hat!

Cooling towels work great, also use a hat and wear a loose fitting long sleeve shirt to keep the sun off the skin. Also drinking plenty of water

I have this long sleeve Columbia shirt I wear. I forget the name but it is really light and keeps the sun off your skin and if the heat gets too bad I just roll up the sleeves.
