For those that dont know how tension forces work, the cable would not have crushed the kid, but any part that hit him could have easily sliced through flesh and bone
i mean at the same time that kid was VERY lucky that the line snapped and he didnt go up into the air, bc if it snaps midair i think there isnt enough of RNGesus on his side to ever get out of that alive
Just like if you try to fix a garage springs the tension on those things can off you if you don’t know what your doing

@@kylejohnson3889 well springs are made to work with a force called compression, and tension is basically the opposite
You also have torsion force, which is rotational, and shear force, which is like scissors cutting paper
One of everybodys innate fear is heights so I ain't the only one😝😆

You should watch the entire video on Action Park. It was so much worse than they made it sound. They killed an employee on the cart ride, people died in the wave pool. They paid employees to test dangerous rides. They had to buy fleet of ambulances for the nearest town. They reopened it not too long ago.

These are truly tame and minor compared to Action Park.
I have a fear of heights as well and I don't like to be on roller coasters also. Most of the roller coaster rides I go on are usually made for kids but I'm a scaredy-cat.

Roller coasters are the funnest things in world, i rode my first roller coaster when i went to cedar point in a school fieldtrip and it was the best feeling and most fun i had in my whole life
There was a ride in Wisconsin Dells called Terminal Velocity. My parents went on it during a vacation we took.
This ride was basically a free fall, from at least 100 feet in the air, where you reach terminal velocity (hence the name). It was shut down a year after my parents went on it because a young woman went on the ride. After she was hoisted up to the desired height 100 ft, she was dropped. However the operator forgot to put the netting up and she ended up hitting the ground. Breaking tons of bones in her body, internal bleeding, head trauma. She survived but ended up paralyzed.
Incredibly tragic and 100% avoidable

Dude there's a ride at my local park called the Samurai: Your seats are attached to a large beam that spins, attached to a hub that spins, and attached to another larger beam that also spins.

Omg I rode Dueling Dragons. Me and my dad rode it. Once on the same train and then the second time right after the first ride, we split up and he rode one train and I rode the other. I miss this coaster..
Not gonna lie; I’d give anything to be able to get onto a theme park ride again, as I haven’t been able to since becoming permanently disabled in 2009. My mum & sisters have offered to get me a VR headset, but from my wheelchair, it would probably just cause motion sickness! LOL. I did accept the PS5 they offered me, though! 😂
I do have a very tiny fear of heights but for me, it depends on how high something is. But roller coasters and drop rides are my all time favorite rides when it comes to heights. The tallest ride I have ever gone on is Falcons Fury the 335ft drop ride in FL at Bush Gardens.

My mom grew up in New Jersey and she said that one of her guy friends went to Action Park, he ended up coming out with road rash all down his right arm because he skidded on cement on one of the rides cuz he was wearing a tanktop. He had to go to the hospital to get it cleaned up
I havnt been to a park in years but I have a problem on just the stairs anymore. Then I need to get on the ride. lol
He didn’t mention the Superman at six flags New England. I can’t remember the year, but a large mentally challenged man got on ride and held down safety shoulder straps making operators think he was secure. On one of the rides humps he had let go to put arms up and was flung from the ride to his death. The ride was shutdown for safety inspection, had some sections change, repaired and renamed the Bizarro for several years. It has since been returned to being the Superman and still in operation.
I think they should have closed the ride down for good or something because how are they still gonna let people ride it after someone died on it?

Years ago, before Hurricane Katrina at Six Flags New Orleans. Someone got decapitated while trying to retrieve their hat that they lost during one of the loops on The Batman Ride.

At a theme park I went rollercoaster call the top gun or something at some point of the ride it turned so fast my head got stuck in a corner of the straps until it stopped turning.

I’m also scared of heights. So I stick to things like teacup rides or just the ones that use centrifugal force like the teacups. Tho there’s also a few rides where you go around in corkscrews, that I can ride no problem - tho not the ones that go up in height.

I ride ALL rollercoasters and love, speed, flips and yes G-FORCES. However, let me tell you my personal experience on this ride...
When I first saw it while waiting in line to ride it, I said this looks like a weak ass ride... BUT, WHEN I RODE IT I WAS LIKE DAMN. I am not sure if I am just old and don't visit Magic Mountain 10 times a year like I used too and therefore maybe my body is a little more prone to the G-forces. When I rode this, it almost made me PASS OUT.
When I rode this, the car would only go ONE LEVEL AT A TIME AND THEN STOP. I remember thinking to myself (and later said it to the ride operator when I got to the bottom) that "boy am I glad this thing stops at each level to allow me to get my bearings". I believe when they first opened it, the ride went from the top to the bottom all at once.
Anyway, because of the way the track was designed with it dips and curves AND THE FACT THAT THE SEATS ROTATED 360 DEGREES JUST AT THE RIGHT TIME, it was definitely a GREAT ride; but NOT for the faint of heart in my opinion.
When I reached the bottom and went to get out, I told the DAMN, THAT IS A LOT OF G'S and that is when he told me that just prior to me riding, the ride used to go all the way down from top-to-bottom.
Sadly, when I went back and saw the ride was gone, I was like dang, that ride was only here for a short minute.
I have a feeling people complained about the G's and that is why they took it down because no one would ride it. LOL.

The kid with the sling wasn't a lucky escape at all. He was perfectly fine. Inside a cage, and it landed a few FEET to his right, outside of it.
That's why he was considered lucky, idiot. Just because he was in a cage doesn't mean he was entirely safe💀

What’s crazy i went to shliderbong wean that slide was around and I wanted to try it out but my mom said no witch i was upset but in her eyes it’s a death trap I’m glad my mom said no
This is all the reasons why I will never be on a roaster in my life
You can ride rollercoasters, but only if they’re in a well-known park with good reputation
