Go-tcha Evolve is quite good, not bad battery health and it's doing the job. A big downside is its charging, it can easily be broken when taking it off for charging and the face watch has no good glas on it, just plastic and getting easily scratched and ugly. But nice colorscreen and functions, nothing about that and works fine. But the app is quite low rated at GP-Store and I can't give more then 2 / 5 stars for it. Connection wise? According to the devs, it gets pushed by Niantic every hour, it's how it's designed, no way around it. Worth buying for the current amount? - Nah. On sale? Yes!

Why no one who is reviewing the gotcha evolve does not say that its garbage? it has problems connecting, it resets, when you cannot connect to it, you need to restart the phone. It stays connected for 1 hour but until you manage it to connects and to remain connected it disconnects couple of times. If you ware it on your wrist it disconnects even more.
@@RedReadyman hmm i was under the impression that the pokeball has no issues with the connectivity/syncing with the game. Only that it stays connected for 1h like the rest.
I'm starting to get back into Go, and found out about the amulet last week, and there's no information on it! Very thankful for your vid! I do have a question though, do any of the auto catchers also act as pedometers that contribute to the steps you take in Go? Again, thanks for your video!
Hi Ron, the Evolve does work as a very good Pedometer, but connection issues between the game and it put me off a little, but I have also heard very positive reviews from others.

Excellent video mate, I’m torn between the amulet and the dual catchmon. Do you notice a speed difference in the two between them catching.?? My only concern is once those batteries fizzle out the device is paper weight, dual catchmon grab couple rechargeable batteries never a problem.
Speed is exactly the same on both no difference at all they all basically do the same thing. Dual Catachmon will last you weeks without new batteries (maybe months) but is weighty, the Amulet I've had now for 5 months and charged once every couple of days and is as light as a feather, but I'm always worried it might pack up.

Hi Jimmy two of the gotchas are endorsed by Niantic and the pokemon company, so I see no reason for a ban. I've used mine for years and know people who have used them for longer and have had no issues. Its not strictly under the terms of service but no one gets banned for it
The Evolve sucks... An update on andoid and now I have 3 evolve dead... Not responding at all :-/ Yes I did try resets and what ever you can google of fixes... Would not recommend it based on my experience.

dual catchmon is the best, you dont have to press the device itself to connect. You only have to press the button on your phone, super convenient.
I've been using it a lot and I do agree my opinion has changed on the Dual, its my weapon of choice now.
Never heard of the Brook one. I got a Gotcha Evolve its fine device

@@onlyblade They are fairly cheap bits of weak bluetooth they will all have issues but yes the Nintendo one is probably the best made one for sure.

Yes you need your game open and stays connected for an hour at a time. I use the dual one for the same reasons
