Minor point: the original Axxe did not have a sub-oscillator. GForce added that. Love this plugin! And I agree about simple synths being great for creativity. Nice video!
I think this video was great! In each section, you had in mind something to demonstrate, and by heck you demonstrated it well! Minor tweaks then to the synth params to tune in the patch you wanted. Love it! Inspirational stuff! 👍
@@ThePlughugger Yes, the Gforce Axxess kind of speaks for itself, but clearly you know your way around a synth and let the viewer get a good glimpse of the capabilities of the Axxess in less then 30 minutes, that's a task on its own. Good work 👋
@HumanBeingWithFeelings I really can't help you with details, but listening to it this is what I would do. Square wave osc. Filter hard (makes the squares like triangles). A bit of filter envelope. A bit slow attack on the envelope not too fast decay. You need to balance those to what you like. Maybe a bit of resonance? Not sure. A lot of reverb and delay. Play a jazzy chord until you feel you got something. The keys lies in the chord you play and the balance of the filter, filter envelope and the filter attack. Good luck! :)
The sound of this synthesizer is mind boggling. I am stunned, it can literally do any sound !!!

Good point! And even the old KikAxxe didn't have a sub either. But I am happy it's there :)

Jeez that unison is juicy!
Excellent review Mr Lofgren, I'm sold.
You are too kind! But I would rather put it "excellent synth GForce, I'm sold" :)

at min. 28:25 the is that a factory preset? the deep house one. if so, which one? if not, could you please share the preset? cheers! :D
Sorry mate - this review was done before I was smart enough to save my preset for my videos. Lesson learned.
@@ThePlughugger too bad :(. No worries. Every cloud has a silver lining. I'm determined to recreate it myself. it sounds gorgeous! cheers!
@@HumanBeingWithFeelings Have fun - making sounds on the Axxess is pure fun. A great synth to evolve your sound with. Love it.
@@ThePlughugger thanks. I did a first attempt and no success 😅🤣. Any hint on how to create that patch? it's so good

filter singing moment was awsome!
Thanks :)
Great review, thanks!
Thanks!
No built in drums??
It's funny, because I love ARP synths, but was never much of a Roland fan-boy.
Yeah, I know. I'm not so much of a Moog person, but more of a Roland boy. But Axxess is absolutely awesome.

ARP was good enough for Michael Jackson...😮
Very true.
Billie Jean is not my lover,
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one,
But the Arp is not my synth.
@@EannaButlerYou know I'm ARP, I'm ARP, Shamone, I'm ARP!
