That is not yam leaves that is taro leaves there is a difference taros and yams are two different ground provision. Yam leave grow on a vine taro shoot their leave directly from the fruit.
It's yam leaves, and you are correct it grows from vines! You can't tell it from the video because it's already been blanched and chopped up. 🙂 I also cook with taro leaves too but sauteed like this. Thanks for watching my video! 💕

Kat, how long do you blanch the leaves? I think I blanched too long, leaves became mushy soft & kinda slimy…
I blanched it for like 5 seconds... Not long at all because I still want it to have some texture.
