    Louis I Kahn
Kahn’s architecture, often monumental with large and geometric openings on the outside, do not always reveal the carefully arrived at articulation of their internal structure. This structural diversity corresponds to a spatial diversity, which is meant to make places of human actions inside and symbolic expression outside. While we enjoy his architecture, Kahn has been challenging to understand as his cryptic and poetic language often conceals his profound desire to locate his architecture beyond the historical evolution, and seek its meaning afresh. At this time, when we are all grappling with the meanings of what we create, a fresh look at the work of Kahn becomes relevant and a renewed source of inspiration.

Silence and light are the metaphysical basis of his structures. His vision is simply divine 😊

Beautiful. Historians have always had trouble placing Kahn as a 'modernist' or a 'post-modenist' as his search had elements common to both... This lecture however looks at kahn in a different light. :-) Thank you so much for this.
