delaying your GCD by half a second to dodge earlier loses you less DPS compared to a Damage-down and standing outside Max Melee gives you less downtime than being dead does
That would have been really cool and thematic to how badly Honey B. Lovely needs praise. Also that sort of trick is very nasty and akin to Yunalesca’s battle in FFX.
@@talonmarshal was gonna say, it had to do something otherwise the savage would be a bit easier then normal, since Honey B. LIVE normal is a pattern but pretty indiscriminate
I don't get outerstage and centerstage combo If you look at the lines on the ground. For outerstage combo, the match the cleaves on all three hits. But on centerstage they don't. Am I crazy?
This… was really weirdly easy looking. And why did they not do anything with her getting ragey at the end? Just aoes til what I assume is enrage? The gabbro guy made it seem like there’d be something about her going rage mode instead
It’s not just aoes though, there’s a bit more going on: There will be 4 sets of A and B debuffs with 4 different sets of timers. The A and Bs with the shortest timers have to touch each other to trigger a raidwide detonation but there is a catch- each explosion gives the the entire party a 5sec magic vuln, so you can’t just mindlessly run into your partner. Rinse and repeat till all 4 stacks of As and Bs are cleansed. In addition, she is casting raidwides and if you look closely she has 2 heart buffs, each amplifying her damage per stack, it’s a punishment for failing her heart mechanics in earlier phases
*Arc2S you mean. What does the M even mean? The majority of raid series in this game we have used the first letter of the main name for the acronym: Alexander = AXNS, Omega = OXN/S, Eden = EXN/S, Pandemonium = PXN/S. So Arcadion = MXN/S?? Huh?? ArcXN/S makes more sense given the A was already taken by Alexander.
except for the fact M is literally used in game? it’s presumably match, we’re in a tournament. every raid series thus far has used the format of one letter, turn number, difficulty. why make it arc now
@@darkcrypter Except that despite it being used in game, it’s not explained in game, and you’re just assuming that. ArcX designation makes more sense since it’s the name of the raid series. I’m going to laugh if they change that letter M to an N or something else in 7.2 or if they add a raid series in the future with a name that starts with M.
This is one of the easiest savage fights i ever played. its just a step above something like O1S. Half the fight is something you could do in normal mode for some reason, until you get to the 2nd beat and then it starts to go somewhere. oh well, i aint complaining, I despise the song and everything about the theming of this fight so the easier the better lol.
"Just play it safe, doesn't matter if you're hitting downtime"
I swear so many people really need to hear these words.
(You have been kicked from the party)
@@lizardmanz That is so real it made me chuckle.
Watching melee greed positionals while failing mechanics causes me so much anxiety and frustration.

That dash at 4:00 to cancel the knockback is insane
I like the callouts, it’s clear, concise, and focused.
Man, i was really hoping for a simp or die mechanic on at least one of the heart phases!
That would have been really cool and thematic to how badly Honey B. Lovely needs praise. Also that sort of trick is very nasty and akin to Yunalesca’s battle in FFX.
Thank god the heart mechanic wasn’t another light rampant like I was expecting
Gamers do be gaming. Congrats on the clear!
the amount of bots comment around here is quite uncanny, especially coupled with the lack of an actual engagement comment.
I am really surprised that getting full hearts doesn't just kill you or at least confuse you to attack your party.
I was expecting something similar to Kefka, where charmed ppl would try to get to kill the group
@@talonmarshal was gonna say, it had to do something otherwise the savage would be a bit easier then normal, since Honey B. LIVE normal is a pattern but pretty indiscriminate
I was expecting a big explode triggering a chain reaction a la Eden Shiva
Your heart combusts and you are now permadead
They're probably saving that for when Arcadion Ultimate comes out in 5-7 years.
ermtime

ye they don't but it's just outerstage combo in reverse
It's because the lines are only for the first and third attack, the second attack always hits cardinals
Don’t look at the lines habibi
BEES
Having the BGM so low is a crime in this one. :3
After playing the Savage as many times as I have, you will eventually mute the music. I was losing my marbles
I like the boss song and I can not lie
At least there wasn't a honey b rampant mechanic '___'
So whats the tell for pair stacks vs spread on beeline? Or is it just dependant on which phase it is?
The boss casts drop of venom/love (depending on phase) which stocks partner or splash of venom/love which stocks spread.
@@Reflection11111 ah, i see that now. Thanks!
Seems to be Splash of Venom for spread (S for solo/spread) and Drop of Venom for pairs (D for duo)
I think it's splash/drop that matters. Splash spread , drop pairs
also on the cast you can see on her weapon either 2 pink orbs (partner) or yellow orbs (spreads)
i have no idea what was happening in that last phase xD

Nobody cares, dude.
M is probably for "match", but it's also literally in the game in the duty finder, attached to the raid names.
