I really like this idea you've got going on, my friend! I was honestly thinking of something similar the last month, sort of doing biographies but from my own point of view, the viewer's PoV and not the story as it happened, you beat me to that one already and did a great job with it 👏😮
I've had a similar experience at a similar age, I think I was 11 or 12 though, and the movie was The Godfather, it was the first movie where I got the finer underlying message of it, I remember realizing at the end that... the "hero" didn't "win", far from it, he lost everything including himself! And before that by a few years, I had a similar moments with video games with MGS1, which is why both that movie and that game mean a lot to me, they were moments where I saw and understood something deeper for the first time!
Thank you so much for sharing this story, and I'm glad there is another one on the Beatles, I'm going to check that one right now, but I already got the feeling you're onto something unique here my friend, please keep it up
Absolutely man I'm very into this concept I've started up. My next one is called "That Flower" about my personal journeys with cannabis. Yesterday I was out at some spots from my past capturing some b-roll footage to use cause the story being personal had to match what was being shown and recycled weed references we're all seen before wasn't cutting it. Opened me up to making a few additions even though the script is written and recorded already.
Also thanks for sharing about The Godfather and MGS1. I encourage you to explore that personal creative muscle as it can really open up a lot about your past and reveal your own personal connections to the topic at hand.
@@sjeanmacleod I can't wait for that one to come out, but take your time with it, no need to rush things! I'm glad you're thinking of this in the wider angle and getting the fresh footage you need for it. Get the stuff you need and make the best video you can make
You're welcome, its really a small thing I felt was worth mentioning I am working on something that is also personal to me but it ended up being a lot more complicated than I ever thought it would be 😂 That's why I put it on the side for a while and got the Day of Catroller stuff done first, but I'll take a small break and get back to it soon. But in my case it always seems to take the backseat to the information I want to put out, so maybe I'll try later to make more personal, but I already really admire what you've put out and I'll try to learn from it 😊🙏

@@sjeanmacleod Thank you for replying, I've seen your older radiohead covers and they are amazing. Jigsaw Falling Into Place, No surprises and Creep all on acoustic guitar would be so cool to see. And maybe do Paranoid Android again, i know you did it like 15-17 years ago but it'll be so sick if you did it again, very nostalgic. Love your work!
