- It is the duty of all citizens to protect the rights of all children. No child should go to bed hungry, without food and clothing. Please stand up for the children. Their rights are being violated when they suffer at the hands of poverty.
When you are loved you don't know your poor. I speak from experience.

Children are the future. If you give them a little faith, that brings hope, and hope is everything to a child.
I used to live in Hattiesburg, MS, and the "we just want them to pick up the trash" photo really spoke to me. So often it seemed the neighborhoods that were predominantly black had busted streetlights, terrible roads, no trash pick up. The residents still paid taxes, but the social services did not seem evenly spread. I can't help but think that was intentional...though I would like to pretend that doesn't still happen in America. You are doing a good work here.

poverty in America go back to the 1930s ,my grandparents lived in a shack with dirt floors,kids went to school with no shoes on their feet,they hunted for there meat and forged for food in the woods,never once in my life time did I hear growing up he was poor,we live on planet earth if we look around we can find food,they also had no electricity or water to the house.
I see home less children with their parents living in a Family car. They still manage to get them to school and the Family is close . Around Christmas, they decorated their car and warmed marshmallows. It is so sad that here in the US, someone has to go without.
Faith is to believe in something thats not proven. Kids and our children need more than that ! they need security, resources, A clean planet... The list goes on!These reason are why i advocate the zeitgeist movement

It's a shame of how American are living and the United States suppose to the richest country. Tell me,where is the money going? The richer is getting rich , while the poor is getting poorer.
I gotta say....although you and I disagree......you are probably the first person I have had a youtube discussion with that has not resorted to swearing, insults and profanity. What a surprise
....2 products are dumped in there and why were they dumped? Because the package had a little dent in it, the top was torn a bit. They could have donated that to homeless shelters, places that provide a safe haven for abused women but no they are too selfish. They want that tax credit. I am not talking cheap stuff but top of the line.
I understand yr point but life doesn't always work the way we planned it to. No-one knocks the filthy rich who have 5-7 kids but when u are poor and have that many ppl look down on you. In Europe late 1800's early 1900's ppl had large families it was the norm. There was no birth control and a hell of a lot less to eat. The state or whomever shd go after these dead beat fathers and provide birth control to men & women. A stern warning should be sent out 2, no more, or you lose all benefits.

Look around you. Doesn't matter what colour you are poverty has affected many races. Hunger and Homelessnes does not discriminate. Don't look down on people it could happen to you.

please , don't hate him , but no I think you are big enough to have everything , just to write on the net and have a computer , forget about these bad days , i think you listen too much to your mother , i think the father is not so bad , you said raw mattresses , some people slept on just bare earth , i am one of them , i worked hard and became an important person in my community , i had no father and he left me when i was so little
but i didn't leave him when he was ill and old .

I don't entirely disagree with you. If companies have excess food they should donate it to the poor. My point is this. What kind of a message does it send to people essentually telling them "have all the children you want because someone else will pick up the food bill". Your method is dealing with the horses after they have bolted from the burning barn. My method is to never let the barn burn to begin with. I don't think people should be rewarded for being irresponsible.
