You have been pioneering the a new era of alternate history on RUclips. Though not all your videos are "realistic", its still very much appreciated what you have done in this community.
who the FUCK cares about "Realisim"? I swear this sudden obsession with smearing alt history channels is pissing me off. Also the notion of "Realisim" itself is just a bullshit term with no meaning. Some true stories in life sound totally made up but we know it happened.

@@minestar2247 There's apparently a controversy in the alternate history community currently, at least on RUclips, about whether alternate history content should exclusively be for the sake of contructing realistic scenarios, or also for entertainment by making one's that are less plausible

Super cool concept, but I think navigation would be easier if the videos at the end of the various timelines had links to their most recent divergences, if that makes any sense
I've always loved RUclips interactive content (e.g. CGP Grey's rock, paper, scissors probability videos) and I'm really excited that this format has come to the alternate history community! There are endless possibilities, and this particular series seems very well made; keep up the good work, sir!
I remember when this channel just had a few thousand subscribers and now look how far you have come, and wow your like a content mass producing machine
This is such a fun video, haven't seen this type of choose your own adventure stuff on RUclips in years. I was kinda expecting the historical route to have a crazy twist but alas. Also I would be so down for expanding this idea out and making a load more choices like Bulgaria being neutral or joining the CP, Russia losing/winning Tannenberg, or hell even Denmark joining the Entente instead of staying neutral. That being said I can only imagine how big such a project would be and how long it would take to make.
This is brilliant! The question is tho, will you be making alt history vids out of these scenarios? Especially the quick central power victory one, that NEEDS a vid.
To ask a question I asked before (which you likely didn't see due to when I asked it), if possible, can you upload the maps you use in your alternate history scenarios where various RUclipsrs decide what happens in different peace conferences? They are well made, they provide a lot of options, and I'd find them interesting to be able to create some of my own personal alt-history scenarios using those maps. Also, I hope this series goes well - it's an interesting concept, and hopefully one that continues into the future, given how it means that people participating can react to each change, rather than it happening all at once (although at the same time, the alt-history scenarios based on polls in forms have a different advantage - that it's always going to be easier to put in more choices there).
Honestly this is genius. First because such interactive scenarios are a very original idea. And also, this is genius from the yt algorithm point of view because if every viewer watches every videos it would be like having the view of thirteen videos in one, which is quite good honestly. Hope we have more of that and continue the great work please 👍.
This reminds me of that old feature RUclips had with the “choose your story” videos where there were hyperlinks on screen that could be any shape or form I miss that feature
Italy in rewriting history: doesn't do anything, demands Austria's territory, Change side when you lose Italy in posible history: Boom bam, half of France is occupied
I believe Britain would intervene immediately this can take a couple of paths but an interesting one would be if due to British aggression there are strikes rather than mass volunteers and Britain falls into civil conflict
Could you do a video on an alternate history of the post cold war era kinda like the video you did on an alternate history from 1453 in the perspective of France. It could take place in like 1992-2007ish. The reason I think this video could be a good one is because of Russia's closer western ties and also, to a lesser extent China's western ties. Both countries were becoming warmer with the west. I think it wouldn't be an unrealistic idea - especially in the early 90s straight after the collapse of the Soviet Union - that China, North Korea and other communist nations like Laos, Vietnam or Cuba would collapse as well and there would probably be hope that Russia could integrate with the West or at least become a nation not closely aligned with the West but not an enemy to the West either, Kinda like India in real life. I think there is a good amount of stuff to talk about considering it's something so recent and this channel doesn't usually have stuff so recent since there isn't much that could be changed in such a short amount of time.
If you are going to make WW2 version of this in Part 2, then make options fro Turkey too. one for does Turkey stay netural or join the war and one for does Turkey join Axis or Allies
I have a suggestion for one more interactive video: Does France declare war on Germany so Italy might join the Central Powers, or does the same thing happen and Italy doesn't join?
Love the idea however, from what I've seen, links within the videos don't work on my most phones or tablets, such as mine. Could you please put the links in the description or in a comment
This was an amazing idea for a video u should do this to ww2 and maybe even the ww2 caused from victory of the central powers caused from the best scenario for them in this video (not easy victory fyi)
I went through all the scenarios and I think that the idea is good. There were some questionable decisions such as the militant germans giving up alsace for peace but it was overall good. I would also like to see this done with WW2.
This is the first time in years that I've regretted disabling youtube's end cards. Now I'm going to have to hunt through the settings to figure out how to turn them back on...
what software/application do you use for these vids? I would like to make a scenario with friends where our heritage gives us starting locations to choose from, then we can expand, attack, ally, or develop.
I prefer this alternate WWI scenario: 1914: It is 1914. The world surely looks a lot different. Many monarchies in Europe and Asia existed back them, and there were many European powers. People were happy because communism didn't exist back then. However, the Balkans were expressing their nationalism: the powder keg of Eastern Europe. Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian nationalist, starting the Great War. This time, it would be a little different. 1915: WWI starts off as usual: Germany invades Belgium and France, Russia tries to defeat Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire, and the United States is neutral. However, the fronts were stalemated in the west, and Russia wasn't doing so well. However, Kaiser Wilhelm II challenged the president of France to a chess game. This chess game was played, and it ended with a German victory with "No. The legend must live." The Treaty of Versailles was signed, but this time: Germany will annex Belgium and Poland The Baltic states will declare independent with Lithuania being a German puppet state. Austria-Hungary will annex Serbia and Montenegro The Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria split Greece France will never see Alsace-Lorraine again and must pay war reparations. 1916: The League of Nations forms, uniting the world, strengthening the west. 1918: The United States doesn't earn the reparations money 1919: Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Bulgaria will keep their monarchies; European powers keep their colonies 1925: European Union forms 1929: The Great Depression doesn't happen 1939: WWII doesn't happen 1945: The atomic bomb wasn't used. 1948: Decolonization doesn't happen 1949: The Cold War doesn't happen 2023: The world will modernize at the same pace, without a communism pandemic. 202x: WWIII doesn't happen and LuigifanZane doesn't try to recreate the USSR. 203x: World peace comes earlier.
