@@8TEE there's plenty of great stuff. personally i'd recommend the various chapters/albums of Atmosphere, Peshay, Mouly, Inner-Vation, Total Science, etc etc
This sounds so nostalgic, even though it's the first time I'm listening to it. It has the same structure and tones as nintendo games in the late 90s and 2000-2010. It takes me to some very peaceful mental environments, where I can streamline through memories in a timeless manner.
Honestly the main reason why it feels so nostalgic to me is Bomberman Hero. It has a similar feel to one of Jun Chikuma's tracks, though maybe not quite as high energy.

I'm getting super strong 2000s vibe out of this, lots of ads and multimedia used this kind of music, and it only makes it more surprising to see this being released in 1996.
Underground music circles started creating this type of melodic Jungle Drum n Bass as early as at least 1992, and it really hit its stride in 96. Eventually, it entered mainstream media like video games in the late 90s and early 2000s and became a staple of that era. I love it so much

Bomberman Hero was the first OST I thought of when I heard this. This song gives me major similaties to Redial and some other overworld themes from that game.
Forza Horizon 2-5 have a lot of DnB on their Hospital Records Radio, nothing like this but some songs share aspects of old school DnB

Hell yeah, Ape Escape 1 was composed by Soichi Terada, a prevalent figure in the late 90s Japanese DJ scene. He excelled at House and Drum & Bass music.

This song actually reminds me more of the soundtracks for "Ape Escape" and "Bomberman World" (the latter which I've only ever played the demo for) and for a while before I had just now discovered this song, I assumed that it was either from "Bomberman" or one of Soichi Terada's (the composer for the "Ape Escape" games) compositions.
Either way, it's still a fantastic song, even if I'm not entirely keen on the memes it's associated with.
