I'm amazed at the amount of fruit/veg you get with 1 plant! It's impressive 😊 I was frustrated through my 1st summer season with my little patio garden. The caterpillars were exhausting. I'll have to rethink what I plant in summer. Finding gardening to be very relaxing otherwise. Don't you just love watching everything grow?! Thx for sharing!
Thanks so much! I absolutely love watching everyone grow and change too - it can be frustrating at times when things don’t go as planned/pests etc, but overall the reward is so worth it! ☺️🌱
The kale looks amazing i didnt managed to grow mine so bug as some bugs ate it before me😅When it comes to peper you can actually take them indoors and continue growing☺️
Thanks! I had a few bugs at times too but I managed to get them before they ate it! That’s awesome to bring them inside and keep growing - just wish I had the room to do that myself Haha
This was my first year tending a balcony garden. How do you clean up for winter? Do you throw the plant material in with the garbage? I am in Ontario as well. I live in an apartment and I don’t think we have the option for yard waste disposal
I have an outdoor storage on my balcony so I try to keep and reuse some of the soil that I can but pull the plants out at the end of the season. Some I have to dispose of, but if there is a place nearby you can take it somewhere to compost the plants and soil as well. This year I will also be storing my blackberry bush, as it will come back next Spring, so you can do that with any plants that are perennials.
I buy them anywhere really! Mostly my local garden shop every Spring and I’ve ordered a few online when I was looking for something more specific. I’m open to trying different brands and seeds so don’t usually stick to one in particular.
I would love to see how to dry my herbs sounds like an awesome idea great job mindful living a!!! 😀
Thanks for watching!! Stay tuned ☺️🌱💚

Do you buy your seeds at a particular store? Or just anywhere you find seeds?
