I really resonate with the idea that a lack of money is the root of all evil. I've had so much turmoil in my personal life over the years because of a lack of money.

Mindset change is a process, but I have committed to doing the work with journaling daily
#1 Negative association with money. I was thought that rich people are greedy
#2 Grew up in a community environment. Brought up to ask for permission before I can take actions. People even have to confront relatives to choose a partner/spouse
#3 Fear of success. I always use an open bucket of crabs as an illustration. If a crab tries to climb out, another will pull the crab back in the bucket. I thought, what is the point of being successful if I had to start again?
#4 Noticed that I was spending too much time with entertainment. Currently cut down time spent on entertainment and social media to focus on being productive and doing the work. Learning to take more actions.
For anyone that is in the process of changing mindset, I recommend giving yourself time for the transformation and journaling daily. Writing has enabled me to be more aware of myself and limiting beliefs.
Thanks again for the video Dan

Dan, I can tell you that my whole life I have been under the impression that money causes all the problems in society. But now I have realized that's not true at all. My whole life I watched my mom struggle to pay bills. She was unhappy. Now that I am an adult I'm unhappy. I make like 312 dollars a week at a job I hate because I think I can't get anything worth more than that because I thought money was evil. But now that has changed. Money can help me live happier. Literally, I almost cried because I was so lost. You flipped a light bulb in my head. I cannot go back to my negative thinking about money and I can't stand my crap job. I'm so glad I stumbled upon your content on Facebook. Bless you for turning lightbulbs on in our minds and hearts. I can't go back now. Thank you.

As a child and young adult I had no fear of success. I excelled at most things I tried. Thinking about why success is scary, and the question of "not being worthy" I now remember back to the feelings I had the first time my heart was broken. Somehow I allowed that wound of unworthiness to effect my self confidence, I "put on the brakes". I am now releasing those brakes and it feel so fvcking good to believe in myself so strongly again. Thank you for your guidance and pushing me outside my comfort zone.

Clare Andre Hmmm... this is interesting. Not "feeling worthy" is a common thread amongst most of us who actively seek to elevate our experience on this planet.
Have you also found that through our evolution and connection with Sifu Dan we refine and redefine ourselves while expanding our capabilities.... and thus increase our perception of our own value?

All of this psychology I discovered falling on my face on my journey. I’ll never forget the day I had a bit of a break down realizing I had become a salesman by vending my wares and that I hated salesmen. Once I got over believing that in order to sell something you had to act like a car salesman I started doing a lot better and went from 2-4 units a show to 15-30 per show!

Hi Dan! As I listened to this video I realized why you and Big Dan say get rich first and then I can help others. Helping others is important to me. I am making getting wealthy important so that I can be congruent. As I reflected on my past and some of my past goals, I realized I tried to skip the step of mastering my high income skills. The wealth triangle is so spot on. Your videos are helping me shift, earn more money, release fears, be a better parent and so much more. My fear is to offend my conservative family, who has double-standards for what women and man should do. The more money I make, the more I "emasculate" the men around me. To my advantage, my partner thinks this is bogus. He wants to see me succeed and supports me on my path.

If they're so offended, they should stop complaining about it and start stepping up. They think they can do better because they're men? Prove it or be quiet.

I am watching your videos Dan because I worked on something specialized that "I love" and I wound up in Europe, but lost it. I am from the US. This experience pushed me and I discovered things that I overlooked while looking for the perfect opportunity. I ended moving back with my Parents. I felt embarrassed. I know I have a lot of potential. At least there is a lot of knowledge in my head that could be applied. I am working to forget my past and years "I wasted" and do something that leverages my knowledge while not worrying about my mistakes and lack of experience I frequently encounter when looking for work. I know there is a better way than going into a lot of college loan debt and/or praying that some recruiter feels bad for me after all of my experiments. I cannot let fear of employers control me, I just need to realize there is value there already I can apply. I felt controlled by people growing up, and cannot fear that employers or other people will control me. Your videos are helping me to reflect and give me hope.

I like the metaphor of, limiting beliefs are like trying to drive a car forward whilst having the brakes applied. Once we become aware of the limiting beliefs and we resolve them, it's much like releasing the brakes and we tend to move further forward faster.

Great info Dan. Money can really bless your family and community. Jewish mindset is that money is blessing from God, not bad at all. Plus when you create negative feelings towards a thing, it keeps you from achieving it.
It is a stupid shaming culture to make money a negative thing. But we all need it to live!
Think of all the people who complain about a fit, strong person, they are very attractive and worked hard. Deep down others resent that, it shows how badly they are doing. But also deep down, that criticiser WANTS it. By making negative associations, they get in their own way to get more fit and healthy and beautiful.
I love your JKD vids and still train wing chun. When I see a skilled martial artist, rather than hate them, I see it as a way to learn, and ask them to help me build my skills. There is always room to improve and be better.

While I do agree, majority of the negative beliefs about money nowadays comes from place of envy or lack of understanding, I also do believe, there is a historic truths in that as well. I can totally see people legitimately hating the rich in the days of monarchies and nobility, where wealth was more inherited than made and then you don't have have to work for what you have, its a lot easier to abuse it.

Hello there Dan. I don't have a problem with getting rich. My soon to be ex is rich. It's just that when he climbed that ladder of success he couldn't be bothered to lift his wife and children who were the ones who sacrificed for him. Now he has others reaping those fruits but never mind my kids and I will get rich and successful too

Dan, I want you know this video along with all of your other content is inspiring and amazing. It's all free and I want to say thank you for making a difference in my life.
My AHA moment was when I realized that the money belief holding me back was: If I truly want to help and serve others, I need to be providing value for free. The whole transaction of money made me uncomfortable. That's why I support Communism in some respect.
Anyway, your saying of your passion and what you love to do, should be the only way you make money. I love that and has allowed me to release the brake.
