Gs is my dream bike. I’m buying a gs 310 as my starter to work up. There’s a bunch of off road trails in Wisconsin. One of them go from Green Bay to minnnesota.
I think the integrated taillights like this one have are sleek but I do have to wonder if they reduce safety, especially when slowing for a turn with your signal on.
Dude I sat on one the other day! Is it just me or when you sat on it and you found the balance point, I felt I was on a razor blade how balanced it felt side to side
What is all the nonsense at 8:34 about it being the slowest and then you talk about BHP and torque? It may be down on top speed, I don't know, but its way up on torque vs the competition and more importantly it has about 20 BHP and 20 Nm of torque more than any of its competitors at any point in its rev range. The Ducati and BMW have more up top because they rev higher. At any road useable rev range the 1390 is beasting the competitors. I switched the video off at this point it was such rubbish.
its actually good and you are right the bike is slow for the streets but its fun and its fast in the track and tbh for the bike to be better you just need to open limiter on the bike and its all good
Question for anyone out there with a 1290 that has ridden the 1390. Is the sitting position much different? Is the 1390 substantially more aggressive? Which one would be more comfortable riding for long periods of time?
Unfortunately KTM appears to be the brand to avoid. Not because of the bikes they produce, but because of the diabolical customer service when things go wrong, and whoever made the decision to charge customers to unlock certain built in features wants shooting..
I love the look of the bike but that steering stem lock is disgusting As a pan am special rider if I was in the market for a naked it would probably be a 990
Idk how you think the ktm is slowest in class… you even said the others make more torque.. ummmmmm no sir they don’t.. ktm is the highest on peak torque by a long shot it’s actually not even close for that matter.. and the bmw m1000r is honestly not any faster both bikes make the same power at the wheel on a dyno.. there’s only one naked definitively faster and that’s the sf v4.. and one more thing.. what about all the other bikes in the class that definitely are slower.. tuono v4? 1200rs ? Mt10? GSXs? Cb1000? Sdr is faster than all those
@@getty6974 It's not in the same category of bike and it weighs 75% more than the 1390 - an almost a 1:1 bhp/ton naked bike. It should have 255 for its weight to match the KTM.
