How do you go from the raw material (clay, compost, etc), and start forming the individual spherical shapes? Do you add individual pieces first?

Hi, thanks for the great video.
I have a question relating to the 1/2 hp motor. Do you you know how many rpm that it does? As I have even told that it can vary. Thanks 😀

In another video i think he said the barrel turns at 35rpm. ~2' diameter barrel. If the motor is 2" diameter, it will need to spin 12 times as fast (12 inches to 1 foot) 35*12=420 rpm for the motor. If motor is 1", 840 rpm.

Hi @Proventus we got the dry clay powder from a ceramics studio supply store. Check for something like that in your area. Thanks for watching!

    Motor how fix?

Hi @Ninja Couples the motor is a simple 120v 15amp 1/3 hp fan motor connected by a series of reducing pulleys by fan belts to the drum itself. each pulley reduces the rotation rate keeping the drum rotating at about 35 rpm.
