  • In this video I look at a new wallet from Das Offene Meer Leather Co the makers of the Gun Deck. The Nimitz is a larger version of the Gun Deck for those who want to carry a few more cards with them. The quality and leather is top notch, but I think I prefer the smaller Gun Deck model personally. Thanks for watching.

Looks like you have an older version of the Gundeck, they were made a little smaller than the current version. The Nimitz may have extra slots but it really doesn't hold any more cards than the Gundeck. I have both. Both are very high quality but I prefer the Gundeck because it's thinner. The extra layer of leather on the Nimitz makes it thicker without really adding any capacity.

I received this wallet a few months back and it’s my favorite wallet, also the gentleman that makes them is awesome , we never met but via email the guy hooked me up.

What a crappy review for such a nice wallet. You never show what it looks like loaded up with cash and cards nor do you even state or show how many cards it will hold. Finally, you admit the wallet was sent to you for free! What a cheapskate!. How can anyone think you're giving an unbiased opinion if you don't pay for it. This seems to be a lazy way to score a free wallet. from

Just got two Nimitz on their Black Friday sale 30% off. The wallets were about $54 each. I like the extra pocket on the back of the Nimitz. They’re really close in size.

I love my Gun Deck Wallet so I guess I have to try this one out at least. Man that will be fun again with customs and shipping to Europe.. still, so worth it.

Great comparison video. I've been considering the Nimitz and also love my GunDeck as well! How long did it take to get the leather to look like that. Beautiful! Thx.

I think th Nimitz would be great for those who would want to Categorize different denominations of currency. Like country's that use different colors for each currency

Not worth $75. I think it is a very stylish design but not practical. Thank goodness you got it for free. Only idiots would pay for that junk.

W C made in the USA , by hand, and with premium materials. Price is justified.
