I had a 98 GTP. 3.4 pulley, fenderwell intake, headers, exhaust, tune, 160 drilled thermostat, fuel pump hotwire kit, etc. 13.8 before the headers. Once I put the headers on it and retuned it, it was a crazy ride. But I beat mustangs quite a bit in the 2000s. My car was known as "the GTP with the dent in the door". Long story. I should've never sold that car...
You are tuning my good friends ess 10 speed, his name is Jason. He said you told him it’s requesting 20% more fuel. Only thing I can think would cause that is unmetered air after the maf? I’m gonna smoke test it tonight for him so yall can get the tune lined out. 😊 when you send him his next revision PLEASE say “Zach’s cobra is still faster” 😂
Facts....even the N/A 3800 was bulletproof damn near. I had a SC Regal back in the day giving bolt on 2v's hell.. I definitely want a clean Beretta Z26, that's if i can find one...
The DSM triplets, shadow/Sundance with the turbo 4's..... I owned an 88 turbo coupe for a few years. Ran on 87 but had a premium switch that upped the boost and timing. Also was the first domestic car to have automatic ride control and Ford eventually used the rear disk set up on the 93 cobras.
89 ford probe GT Turbo. 2.2L turbo, only rated at 145hp and 190 ft/lbs of torque but Ford sandbagged the shit out of that rating. It ran a 7.3 0-60, which is decent for that day, especially from a front driver. My manager had one back around 1995 and actually let me drive it. The torque steer was something to be experienced-if you punched it from a light and stayed in it, you'd be 2 lanes over from where you started.
My buddy's mom had a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. That car was FAAAAST at the time. First car I ever hit 130 MPH. 240 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque low in the rev range. It freakin moooooved. And it didn't look like it should be fast unless you knew what it was. 0-60 in like 7 seconds.
The Bonneville SSEi Pontiac was like the Cadillac version of the GTP shit was DOPE for it's time. Contour SVT, the platform kinda sucked but with a few easy cheap mods they RIPPED for what they were, like the SHO's baby bro. Shelby Daytona, the last 3 years of them were hella underrated.
I owned most of those 90’s GM cars. A couple of my favorites was a GTZ berreta with a quad 4 and 5spd. Also had a 1988 grand am SE with a 2.0L turbo with a 5spd. That car walked many 3rd gen Camaros and 5.0 mustangs.
Chevy S10 SS! i had an extended cab GMC sonoma V6 for my first car. Raced a buddy's 02 v6 vert mustang and kicked his ass. The S10 SS is still a secret want of a car. I also had an 88 RX-7 5 speed as well.

Early 2000s z24 5spd with the GM supercharger kit were legit.
I got a 96 Beretta Z26 in 2000 when I graduated high school. It was definitely quick for what it was.

SAAB 900 Turbo was underrated. But that car reminds me of something Bill Lumbergh would drive.

I liked the 94-96 Probe GTs handled outstanding, 7000rpm V6 I put in a chip and a ram air didn't run bad
