    I usually paint the whole board. So it has an even shine all over

      Okay, good to know. That’s what I usually do but then I had a thought “maybe I don’t need to do that and just do it over exactly where I painted and then wet sand down to an even finish”

      I try to blend into unpainted area and no need to spray where wax will be. 🤙🏻

      Oh okay, that’s good to know. I might try that next time bc I feel like I wasted a lot of the clear coat on the rest of the board when all I wanted to do was protect the pin line.

    I do mostly resin tints to get that psychedelic look.

      The color on the board was resin tint, but I ended up using paint markers for the pin line.

      @@paulzeye_surfboards nice. Ive tryed doing resin pin lines, but I could never get them to come out right

      That’s exactly the issue I had with this board. I did a resin line and I just didn’t like how it turned out so I sanded it off and did a painted line.

      @AlleyTrashBoards no I put the paint line over the hot coat and sprayed a couple layers of clear coat
