I was a kid in 1996 when I met her. She had just won Gold and happened to be shooting at the same range in Socal. She let me hold her medal. Just a 6 year old back then but I still remember it.

Kim, you are my motivation. Those who slam this sport and your accomplishments have no idea what you've done, or what it takes to keep on top of the game like you have. You are awesome. When you medal in the next Olympics, you will be the ONLY person in history to medal in 7 consecutive Olympics instead of one of 2 to do it in 6. You will do it, and maybe more.

I love my Beretta O/U. I bought it from an 82 year old Pastor in Ohio who could no longer go hunting. He'd maintained it wonderfully and I took ownership of a gorgeous example of what Italy can produce. The gun was made in 1954 and the first time I put it to my shoulder it was clear... that gun was meant to be mine. I've had years of enjoyment from it and hope to pass it on to my niece or nephew someday.
David Buschhorn and maybe hopefully, if you teach your niece and nephew the right skills, they may possibly receive Olympic gold, which will make you proud of them and yourself.

William Harp no. This International Skeet, sometimes also called Olympic Skeet. Course layout is the same but targets are faster and you have to start from a low gun position.

It was mixed gender until 1992.
Many Olympic shooters hate the gender separation because it cheapens the victory. There are all kinds of bullshit rumors that female Olympiads use lighter loads or their guns are modified to lower recoils..All nonsense.

You try it. Its harder than it looks and takes great instinct. Wind affects the flight of the clays...and the clays dont only fly one way...and the changing stations put the clay flight at vastly different angles.

+panzerken if we're talking numbers. 60% of gun violence is suicide. And look at the murder rates in other countries without gun rights, some have even more murder rates. But please understand that guns are the greatest equalizer. Criminals get their hands on guns even if theyre made illegal. Look at the Paris attacks. 100+ people dead. Banning guns will only leave law abiding citizens defenseless and if criminals are gonna get their hands on guns even if made illegal. Then might as well make it legal so the good can arm themselves as well because we all know good people wont break the law to get a gun. Only criminals would. And most of the gun violence are caused by gun free zones (chicago) and the media goes ahead and demonizes the guns when the gun free zone laws are the ones to blame for the spike in crime. Wake up dude. Our corrupt govt are just trying to disarm US so they can further push their political agenda.
