I always wanted to do a medley of RUN DMC songs, so back in March I decided to put an arrangement together and asked these amazing people to be a part of it.
How can you do a RUN DMC medley without the KING of ROCK- Darryl McDaniels DMC. I have been a RUN DMC fan from back when I first heard
"It's Like That/Sucker MCs" they had my attention immediately! It's no secret that our "I'm the Man" song was inspired by RUN DMC and the Beastie boys...that's how much we loved them.
I asked RA once again because he has the groove and creativity to adapt to any song. I love how he placed a familiar line at the end of the song that Just fit so well. I asked Rob Caggiano because I always loved his style. I love the way he attacks his guitar and plays the tastiest shit. He throws this great Black metal riff in here that raises the tune to another level. We all came together to create this piece of music that makes US move.
I hope it YOU move! Maybe it inspires you to make music, play your instrument, write lyrics...

As much as an original Anthrax lineup fan I am, I think Rob is my favorite Anthrax lead guitarist by far. I love his playing. Love Spitz too, but Rob is s0 smooth, melodic, and creative as hell.

AS much as Covid sucks i'm loving all of the jams that Charlie and friends are releasing from quarantine.
I can't imagine not having all this at home content, it's so awesome with all the collabs you wouldn't normally have seen.

The whole nu-metal wave of the late '90s/early '00s really soured a lot of people on combining the two genres, but it can be a great pairing with the right talent.

DMC's got one of the smoothest flows in the rap game. He doesn't miss a beat here.
My respect and admiration just gets higher with each video. This is how todays hip hop is lacking. A punch.

Damn. Makes me nostalgic for 1986. I was a HUGE Run DMC, Anthrax, and Suicidal fan. Charlie has just been killing it. Always loved his drumming, way underrated IMO compared to others from the thrash scene.

Every time I read a interview and the guys in Anthrax said they were rap fans, I never doubted them at all. And then Rob throws in some of the riffs from "Rock Box"! This is such an amazing video!

Unbelivable. You ALL got me back to my teens with this one. I've been through most music by now. I was dansing my ass off.......And Rob..., Sweet , sweet Rob........ I totally LOOOOOVE you! You're awesome. I hope my 12 year old son, will continue playing the guitar. He's been hooked on the guitar since 2.5 years old. ( Getting really good actually). Then you would have competition. Funny in 1985 I had run dmc king of rock album and Anthrax spreading the disease album both on cassette, how could someone even begin to imagine I'd be seeing them perform together in 2020, much less on a phone?
