Yesterday i ordered an Ultra. I think the biggest difference things like HX stomp, Pod Go, Ampero and so on is the ‚gnarl‘ u know? The beef. Its there, hopefully it will sound good for me. I had nearly everything in this price range.. please sound good! Don‘t want to spend double for a Kemper🤣

@@OzzGuitar yea man, I actually owned an ax 8 at one point too. But I like this video because I believe you hit the nail right on the head. The old Ultra and Standard still have that fractal sound. Most people probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference tonally speaking. But the old standard has like maybe 70 or so amps to choose from where as the axe 3 has like hundreds. Same with the IR slots. My standard had 30 IR slots, where as my axe 2xl has over a thousand. And I'm sure the 3 has even more. BUT the main point here is this....as far as strictly the tone/sound quality goes, the old standard and ultra models absolutely stack up against the new models. If your someone who needs a bunch of input/outputs, or what's the luxury of having hundreds of amps to mess around with, then perhaps the old models just wont have enough for you there. But if your just trying to get some good tones to record with, the old models will still absolutely work. Nice vid!
still rockin my ultra - not sure we need anything else really...its better at what it does than I am at what I do, so until i get better at guitar than the axe ultra is as sounding like real amps, cabs, and pedals...is there a point? probably not. Great video and GREAT playing.

Selamlar, kayıdı L R olarak çift kanal aldım ve sağ sol olarak 80 panladım. Amfilerin ses farkları olduğu için çıkışta limiter kullandım. Yani düşük sesli presetleri biraz ittirmiş ve peak yapan biryer varsa clippingleri engellemiş oldum. Başka bir plugin veya efekt yok. Teşekkürler

I see no reason to upgrade my AXE-FX II to anything. Using it with my JCM 800 or Mesa Dual rectifier through X-LOAD. Talk to me in 15 years and i will most likely be using exactly same setup

Thank you. For me they are at different leagues Axe Fx Ultra has a pro sound that’s why big bands and famous players using Fractal audio products for long years. Metallica still using Axe fx II at live shows and soundwise is not much different than Axe fx ultra✌️
@@OzzGuitar Very much agree with this statement. Kempers and Axe Fx's really get you a professionally recorded sound that others modelers just can't achieve. That's what you pay for when you buy them.

I think that in 2022 this is still best budget modeller. The feel for me personally is better than in Helix..this is very good old piece of gear

I've owned the axe fx 2 xl+ and the axe fx gen one standard. They sound pretty much the same....you just get way more options with the axe 2

Ultra is older model and Axe Fx 3 is the latest and most powerfull unit. 3 has more and better amp modellings, cabs and effects.
