This is a very informative video for all Americans once we become eligible to vote and are thus responsible for electing judges. On thst topic I would do an explainer about which judges are appointed and when, and which judges are elected. From my understanding, judges in state systems (at least in Ohio) are elected at all levels (and appointed when there is a vacancy by someone in the state and/or local system), while federal judges are appointed always, though I could be wrong.

Great idea. I'll try to do one on judicial appointments. I did an "Explained: The Supreme Court" video that dives into the appointment of Supreme Court justices.

This helps me a lot. I have a loved one who has been in prison and has to be sentenced in both the state and federal court. It was confusing to me but this makes more sense.

I’m potentially summoned next week to federal court jury duty. After watching this, I think I am unqualified and unprepared for the subject matter.

But this seems silly why don't they merge the two systems together?! They divides the system and people.

Different between federal court and state court
    This is not really important
The problem.is there is no justice exist inside the United State law system.
For instance if the 1992 Rodney King LAPD and 1995 Oj simpson trial was taken place inside the South Korea law system
1992 4 LAPD and 1995 Oj simpson 100% could have been pleaded guilty
These 90s two major court trial even manipulated jury system
1992 Rodney king LAPD court trial wasn't supposed to taking place in Simi valley this incident taken place was in the middle of the down town LA
According to the United.State court trial system. 1992 court trial was supposed to be taking place in downtown LA
But to aviod having majority of the African American jury members 1992 court trial was taken to the simi valley 50 miles away from the downtown LA
If the 1992 court trial was taken place in downtown 4 LAPD could have been pleaded guilty for sure
Thats why 1992 Rodney King LAPD court trial was held i Simi vally
Similarity to the 1995 oj simpson trial
Murdered incident taken place was snata monica area where majority of the Caucasian americans residents
But 1995 oj simpson court trial was taken place was downtown LA
This 1995 oj simpson trial also was from the beginning court trial never been intended to taking place in Santa Monica
It obvious that oj simpson never going to be surive if the court trial ever taking place in santa Monica
Majority of the Caucasian American jury members most likely to vote guilty for the trial final verdict
It was to risky for oj simpson to taking his chances from the santa monica residents jury members so court trial was held in Downtown LA to earning the majority of the African American jury to getting away with committed murdered
And consequence oj simpson pleaded not guilty
1992 and 1995 court trial is known to be the MANIPULATION COURT TRIAL OF THE CENTURY
How can you say there is justice exist in the United.State court trial system
    Not even close
